LAST DAY OF YEAR 2008 !

Today marks the last day of 2008 . still got half an hour more before 2009 arrives .

This year , many things have happened around us/world
-SiChuan Earthquake
-Beijing Olympic
-Milk Scandal
-First Singaporean killed from terrorism
-Global Recession etc .

Those are the few events which happened around the world . Mostly , i think more bad events happened rather than good events .

Many people will wish that the economy will improves and bring everyone out of economic crisis .

and of course , better luck and best wishes to year 2009 . Though i don't really believe in fengshui , it's said that 2008 is bad year . Well , kind of true to certain extent . Hopefully , 2009 will be a better year .

Well , many things happen to me in year 2008 too .
-I meet my love this year .
-JC life and stop schooling due to stress etc .

I also hope everything will be improve for my family and myself for the next year . I will be thinking and writing out the New Year's Resolutions .

My 18th birthday is coming . The time pass by so fast that i am turning 18 soon , legal to buy alcohol and go out for cubbing . hehes .

and soon , it will be Chinese New Year . I am not looking forward to it though . It's really very fast . I don't think people will be in the mood to celebrate due to economic crisis since many people are affected by it .

Hopefully in the new year , everything will change for good .

Firstly , HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GRANDMA !

yesterday
i woke up in the afternoon and straight away go to yishun to meet dear for lunch . we walked to long john silver .

after that , we walked back home .

i was doing boring stuffs , either watch TV or using lappy till at night , dear's papa drove us to some funny street name for dinner and sent me back home .

today
mummy came quite early and screaming around the house . LOL . she woke us up so that we can go to AMK to buy my phone . but i don't care since i was very tired . i slept till 12 plus then woke up .

we went to the shop but the shop don't have the pink one . in addition , they don't accept NETS or VISA . i wonder how people buy those super expensive phone .

we didn't buy at the shop and we decided to go to AMK hub for lunch . i met dear at pepper lunch .

after that , we went to collen's aunt shop to buy the phone . it's cheaper than the previous shop that we visited .

and yes , i got my new ice cream phone after using SE W700i for more than 2 and a half years . THANKS MUMMY AND UNCLE ! It's my christmas cum birthday present ((:

after that , we went to buy swimsuit at sportslink since mummy threw away the old ones . finally , i can bring my sisters for swimming and running .

we went to popular to buy colleen's books next and we went to supermarket to buy groceries before going home .

i am sooooo facinated with my new phone . i am trying to get used with the messaging function since it has been a long time since i used a Nokia phone(same key with LG) .

my sisters , cousin and i sent Adrian back home before visiting my grandma at toa payoh . poor boy , he can't tag along because of his stingy , unreasonable and ridiculous father .

for the 2 days , we only see daddy on the first day since he was near toa payoh hub . he dropped by to give us allowance for the week . he is very busy .

oh ya , i met my GP teacher , Mrs Jennifer Liou , outside toa payoh library . it's such a coincidence . i didn't see her at first till she called my name . LOL .

we went grandma's house for dinner and went to pasar malam to buy some snacks back . staying there was alright , just that i can't stand my two cousins who are sooooo annoying , especially the male one .

my sisters can't stand him too . LOL .

nothing much , staying there is kind of boring as we can't use Internet . worst , i have yet to find out the root of the problem to my NDS's micro SD card . haiz .

today
i woke up pretty late , at 2pm plus ?

my sisters and i went to downstairs to have our lunch . after that , we came up to bring colleen to toa payoh central for lunch while i looked for POSB ATM machine .

it's like what the hell , the nearest one which is counted as very far from the McDonald's , was out of order . in the end , i got to run to another building for bank transaction .

moreover ,the weather was sooooo hot in the afternoon .

after that , i ran back to McDonald's to use Internet for checking mails and stuffs . thank goodness that they have electric socket since most of the Mcdonald's have sealed up the electric socket .

at night , we ate our dinner and went back home . we couldn't stay for another day since my sisters didn't bring more extra clothes .

we took a cab home afterwards .

i wonder how am i going to spend my day tomorrow . too bored but i have no money to go out for shopping . haiz .

yesterday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AARON AND ZALIKAH , the christmas eve babies .

It's party day ! we went to aunt's house in the afternoon for preparation . The things were kind of heavy for us to carry . LOL .

after reaching , we put down our stuffs and we went to a nearby foodcourt for lunch since we haven't eat anything for the day . afterwards , uncle garry dropped us somewhere near his house for junheng , dear and i to go to compass point .

i went around shopping for presents while dear and junheng shopped for the tibits and party poppers . however , it's such a pity that all the party poppers were sold out .

we spent the rest of the time before the guests came , to use laptop and stuffs . the iMAC at the house is like WOW , big screen , good for watching movies !

at night , we ate all the delicious food contribute by different people . it's was soooo nice , yum yum !

and so , we counted down for christmas and prepared for exchange gifts game . thankfully , the game didn't last for long so most of us don't have to sing . LOL . my mum was hyper though , eager to sing for us . hahahas .

after that , i got all the presents under the christmas tree that is belongs to me . my darling boy got 3 shirts from all the 3 gifts . LOL .

we woke up in the afternoon since we slept at 4am . LOL .

we packed our things before going out for lunch . nothing much , all of us are very tired . i am tired , all thanks to the kids who on both the aircon and fan at max which made me have to wake up to adjust the fan speed .

we went back after collecting our stuffs at my aunt's house . dear had to come to my house as he forgot about his mummy's present . thanks sweet for helping me to carry my things (:

now , it's home sweet home and i am very tired .

the end product of our hard work ! yayness ! the white part is the marshmallow that my sisters didn't boil it properly xD

this afternoon , dear came to my house to accompany me to shop around for our dessert's ingredients . all the things are easy to find except gelatin since most people don't know what's that =.=

imagined i went to 3 supermarkets and one shop to find and they never sell gelatin.

in the end , we went to the nearest NTUC to buy the stuffs . we spent around 2 hours to buy everything . LOL .

making the dessert isn't easy . since i am not talented to be in the kitchen , this is gonna be hard . so i asked my sisters to help the both of us for different tasks .

after 2 and a half hour , the thing is finally done as shown above . it wasn't really very successful since the marshmallow didn't full melt and the jelly section is way too thick . however , it's still edible . hahas .

not bad for a first timer , credits to my sisters , my littler cousin Adrian , dear and myself xD

tomorrow is the Christmas party ! i am sooooo excited to find out what presents i am getting tomorrow , especially the one that dear is giving me .

i shall update tomorrow , perhaps on 12mn , 25dec . LOL .

dear came to my house in the afternoon and we didn't go out till night . we had our dinner , curry with roti prata . we were kind of late for the concert so we took a cab .

anyway , some people took our ticket by mistake and the people have to make arrangement so that we can go into the auditorium to watch the band concert .

it was really nice and interesting . i always like the band concert . it's very refreshing and we enjoyed it .

i saw some familiar faces there xD

after the concert , we went home straight as the next day we will be going to sentosa .

yesterday
dear came to my house in the morning to go sentosa with me . my darling boy is soooooo sweet .

we reached there on time and there were many people from his swimming club at palawan beach . we started the whole thing by dressing our mascot in our groups . i didn't help my group as i was doing nic a favour .

i brought my whole makeup set to make the poor boy a joker . haha , it's sooooo fun ! the geisha one was nice as yonghao's girlfriend painted flowers on the garbage bag . she is really very talented .

after that , we played something like the obstacle race . members had to whole their hands , walking side by side and biting a spoon with a pingpong ball on it .

it was quite fun though i don't really enjoy such games . LOL .

we had our lunch . the packet food is way too much for me . i barely ate a quarter of it and i have to leave it aside for in case we were hungry .

next , it's "treasure hunt" . we got to take photos of the places stated with clues and pictures helping us . we were running around the places , asking people and stuffs .

i wasn't complain about being tired or the sun . but i was definitely complaining about insects , or rather spiders . since young , i have arachnophobia , which is fear of spiders .

i can't help to jump around and being paranoid about my surrounding , especially i am near trees . i just can't help it . i will breaking sweat , shiver and worst , out of breathe and ending up crying .

ok , i know i am strange but everyone definitely have fears .

poor dear , he was in difficult position when i was pulling his shirt , crying and lots of stuffs . LOL . but it's all thanks to his brother who scared me . humphs .

finally , everything ends and we were the 2nd group to reach the end point , just seconds behind the first group . we waited around the place for all the 10 groups to arrive .

the next programme was volleyball , but must be seated down . i didn't want to play as it's boring . so i spending the whole free time , sleeping .

dear and i went off early after eating fruits . overall , it's quite fun as i got to exercise . LOL .

we went to vivo for dinner . we ate at carl's junior and we took train back .

i met my sisters at centry square to watch twilight again . i got to watch as i promised them to watch but i watched with dear and xinying first . LOL . but i won't get tried of it .

ok , don't mind me . my sisters didn't really like the show though . they think that it's an insult to the series . LOL .

mummy didn't watch with us because she had to fetch uncle . he is definitely a spoiler and it's not everyday that we can watch movie with mummy .

today
we went to watch movie in the evening . supposedly , mummmy was joining us but again , the whole thing was destroyed by uncle .

we asked mum to join us after praying at old tampines road . it wouldn't take too long and it's not that we were watching the ealiest time we could get .

she asked uncle but guess what he said ?

"aiya , this kind of show nice mehhs ?" he told my mum . still , she actually wanted to join us and said that she will call us after going to the tample .

after awhile , she called and asked why not we watch the show 'the day the earth stood still' .

but we wouldn't want to watch as firstly , my sisters and cousins don't like the show . next , dear and i have been hearing reviews and from friends who had watched the movie , saying that this movie is not as nice as we thought .

she said the we watched movie yesterday and now we watch again . she had nothing to defend and got to find excuses for not watching with us .

in the end , she never join us . it's not her to be blame but uncle . just why in the hell should he stands in and interfere ? it's not everytime we can go out and enjoy with mum .

arghhh , forget about such spoiler . i just can't stand him .

we wacthed yes man , by jim carrey . i will give a rating of 10 out of 10 . wow ! another full mark rating .

this show is really cool . it's not too lengthy and yet it filled us with laughter . we were amazed with this show . watch it ! you will not regret ((:

we went home afterwards since we had our dinner before going out for movie .

i can't wait for christmas to come as it will be sooooo much fun . dear , my sisters and i will be making dessert for christmas party since his mum forgot about the timing and failed xD
