Nuffnang Movie Contest - Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland , a disney cartoon whereby everyone will definitely know of it .

It is a novel written by English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson in 1895 . As for the Disney cartoon which we have watched , it's made in 1951 .

This show is famous for certain characters:


Alice , the main character .


The eccentric character with riddles - Mad Hatter .


Tweedledum and Tweedledee , the identical twins .


Red Queen , the main antagonist .


White queen , the one who played chess with Red Queen .

Other than those characters , the other famous ones are Cheshire cat and White rabbit .

1) Tell us who is your favourite Alice in Wonderland Character and why.

- Personally , I like Alice alot . Although it seems common to like the main character , I have my own reason . Alice is a character who is very innocent and full of curiousity .

It is because of her curiousity which led her to the 'Wonderland' . She has courage to be able to face off enemies (Red Queen) , which inspired me ever since I watched the Disney cartoon version .

Sorry for lacking of updates . I have been very busy for these few days .

Wednesday
I spent my whole day chionging my report .

When I finished , I even uploaded the wrong one to the anti-plagiarism program . It gave me the 41% of my full report . Though I managed to get my lecturer to remove the previous one and uploaded a new one , it's still 39% .

I was like "nevermind and forget it lahh" .

The paging and content page gave me headache . Luckily Terence and XW anata helped me with it . If not , I probably will be ended up "smashing" my laptop . LOL .

Thursday
I woke up late for my IO chem class . Damn sleepy ~

But thank goodness that Terence helped me to look at my test's marks and submit the RWP report .

Oh well , getting 34.5/50 is considered good with the last minute studying with Terence and didn't sleep for the night . hahas xD

In the afternoon , I met Terence at McDonald's to study . Geee , doing maths is just very tedious when you don't know how to do .

I was like spending hours just to do 2 tutorial . Just feel like knocking off my head .LOL .

Friday
Accompanied mummy to buy groceries in the afternoon . It was like soooo long since I saw mummy at first day of CNY .

After that , we went to tuition centre for my sisters thing before going back home . I was in the rush because when I reached home , dear was already on his way to Pasir ris interchange .

I ended up meeting him at Tampines Interchange instead . Sorry love .

We ate dinner at his house since he asked his mummy to cook my share . For the whole night , I was spending my time chatting with Dear's mummy while he was fast asleep .

He was sleeping too soundly till he doesn't even realised that I went home already . LOL

Dear's mummy sent me to bus stop instead xD

Yesterday
I went to meet dear at KFC in the morning for breakfast . After that , we went out to Liang's court to buy groceries for steamboat with mummy .

Nothing much , just that we had steamboat at night . Dear's favourite .

Today
The weather was freaking hot . The world must be coming to the end real soon...

Anyway, I went to study with Terence at McDonald's again . We were studying Microbiology . Seriously , I hate the chapter on Enumeration . It sucks big time .

Dear came to look for us with his big army bag . We studied till late afternoon then we went back home .

Nothing much , dear ate his dinner and I sent him to Pasir Ris interchange . It seems like My uncle, Maurice, said 'Hi' to me but I didn't react .

It's like all army boys look the same alright ! I even need to look closer to double check see if I was following the wrong person .

I went back home alone and had steamboat for dinner . My cousin Jordan and his girlfriend Elaine came to my house . My other aunties and Uncles came to my house later on .

Oh ya , I am spending my time watching this: Koizora (drama) .

This is the drama version, acted by different casts from the movie .

The show is super duper nice ! It's a little different from the movie but the main plot is still the same . I just won't stop crying when watching this .

I still remembered when I watched the movie with Dear back in 2008 , half of the people in the cinema cried and you can even hear the sniffing sound .

I will read the manga and novel real soon !

Regardless what , I think I still prefer the Hiro in the movie, Miura Haruma (三浦春馬) . Seto Kouji (瀬戸康史) has his own way of portraying Hiro , which I love it too .

As for Mika , I probably prefer Misusawa Erena (水沢エレナ) compared to Aragaki Yui (新垣結衣) . Perhaps because of her age (15) when she acted the show, she can portray the student role better .

Dear came back from camp and I am super duper happy about it , though he reached my house slightly later than I have expected .

Oh well , it's better than nothing right ?

Wednesday
Reunion dinner was at grandma's house . Steamboat is delicious , but I didn't expect that I got to eat another few times for the next day .

Thursday
It is Valentine's day and yet I couldn't celebrate as per usual since it clashed with CNY .

Actually , I would prefer to celebrate Valentine's day than CNY . CNY is a day for me to get more red packets and spend more time with my dad (TOP PIORITY) .

But I wish to spend a special day with my love one too . Nevermind , there's always anniversary which is coming soon ((:

We went to Yishun straight since grandma asked the others not to go to her house . Bus to Yishun was pretty packed and I got to stand with my high heels .

It's like standing for long hours without getting paid . LOL

Nothing much , I was just 'stoning' one side . Evening , we went to one of the granduncle's house . Steamboat for dinner again . hahas .

However , I was quite unhappy about leaving so early . Other than being not able to get more red packet , I wasn't able to enjoy the festive mood longer .

Being pissed , I showed attitude to everyone .

When I reached Toa Payoh , grandma gave us extra $50 which made me super guilty . She has no money and yet gave us extra after I made a fuss on that day .

Guilty , even till now .

I promise when I earn lots of money , I will bring a few people to eat if I have the chance. Namely Mummy, Daddy, Grandma , Honey uncle and Uncle Rom .

Those few people are someone important to me; who guide me and have provided my needs in my life .

Anyway , I went back home to put down my things before going out to meet dear . My hair was in terrible mess because we sat at the back of the lorry . LOL

Dear went to queue up for the tickets at Century Square . Initially, we wanted to watch the 9:30pm show but it's sold out .

So we waited for about 3 hours doing nothing , just to watch the show at 12mn .

We saw many familiar faces around the shopping mall area; Shayne, Raphael and Fabian . Wonder what those kids were doing outside . LOL .

We watched Percy Jackson and the Olympians - The Lightning Thief.


Overall , I will give a rating of 9 out of 10 . I love it very much . The effect is fantastic, characters look 'godly', good plot and most importantly, it's about Greek Mythology .

My sisters, dear and I am big fan of Greek Mythology ! We love the show partly because of this, though dear find it can be better .

I am pretty sure there will be other parts since wikipedia wrote that there are other books . I am sooooo going to buy and read the books soon .

Which part of the movie is funny ? I would say those parts involves the Medusa. Like kissing the beheaded Medusa accidentally .... LOL .

I would say it's worth to watch . Real good (:

After the movie, we walked back home. Dear took cab after walking with us for awhile .

Yesterday
My sisters and I went to dear's house in the afternoon .

Most shops haven't open yet , only those cafes and certain fast food . So we bought subway back to dear's house for lunch .

Since Dear's mummy wasn't around , we spent our day by watching crayon shin chan till dinner time.

We went to auntie Adeline's house for dinner . It's steamboat again . LOL .

Oh ya , did I mentioned that I seldom talk to Dear's brother, Brendon? I guess this was the first time we ever talk that much. hahas .

After dinner, we went back to dear's house to wait till 10pm before heading out to GV 10 to catch a movie . We met Nic there .

While waiting for Nic to arrive , we waited at Burger king . Just less than 10 minutes, the movie tickets were selling fast .

So we ended up has to split 3-3 . Nic sat with us while Brendon sat with my sisters .

We watched Valentine's day .


I will give a rating of 7.5 out of 10 . Personally, I find that there are too many actors and actresses involve, which makes it looks very messy .

Why do I say so ?
Because in this movie, everyone of them are significant; they are all couples or once in a relationship.

Yes , there are some funny acts like Anne Hathaway's part time job etc. There are some unexpected part like hinting of homosexual .

I find that if everything are linked , it will be much more better .

After the movie , I took a cab back home with my sisters .

The bloody m.fucker driver cheated our money . He asked where is our destination and I told him near police station and Temasek Polytechnic .

Yet, he didn't even past by TP and worse, turned a big round to our house . It's like even when I take a cab home back from town area also not that expensive lahhs .

Nabei , cheat 老娘 money.

Today
Dear came to my house this morning .

We had our breakfast before going off to Pasir Ris interchange . He is going back today . Too bad that they don't have in lieu holiday for CNY .

Every army boy looks the same to me; I have to look carefully to recognise dear when they stand together .

By the way , the weather is fucking hot . I wonder how they are going to endure it in Tekong since it's hotter .

I hope they drink enough water to avoid heat stroke ...

I bought Yogurt at white sand , which is charged by weight . I bought peach flavour with strawberry toppings and it costs me 7 bucks .

Quite ex, but it's nice (:

After dear went to queue up, I went to the ticket office to make my tertiary ezlink card . I helped one old lady to make her card since she can't speak mandrain .

Nothing much, I went back home afterwards .

I slacked for the whole day till I fell asleep . Dear called early but we didn't talk for very long .

みんなさん! おはようございます。

I just woke up after sleeping for more than 8 hours. It seems much more better since I didn't even sleep on Wednesday night . But I guess I am going to sleep after I finished typing this post .

Tuesday
I went to school early to do my IDEAS and we have presentation afterwards .

Supposed to be able to work for the LG hp launch but unfortunately , there wasn't a pair of boots with my shoe size .

Oh well , just my luck . At least I won't have to rush from place to place . hahas .

Wednesday
I was spending my day at home doing nothing and then during evening time , studying with Terence .

Haha , you should see how he messed up with Formamide and Formaldehyde . I was laughing like hell lahhs !

We studied till about 10pm then we went back home .

Yesterday
I went to school early and thought that there was excel class . So I met Alif at FC5 for breakfast and studying .

I put too much pepper in my porridge , causing me to drink 1 medium and 1 regular ice lemon tea .

and I went to toilet for countless time ! LOL .

The test , I did it with a sleepy mind since I never sleep at all . Negative Tollen's reaction , I wrote Ketone at first . Guess what ?

I don't know what's wrong with my mind and I cancelled and put Aldehyde . LOL . Pro man .

Anyway , it's over and this is just 10% , not the main paper . hahas .

During evening , I went to work with other 15 babes ; Val, Kit, Xing Yi, Gillian, , Aki, Nikki, Candice etc.

Finally I get to see some of them since I never see them for quite some time . Too bad that we couldn't bring camera phones and cameras to take some pictures with others .

The most scary thing for the day ; not any supernatural thing but SPIDER !

It's like WTH can . Kit went into the ladies first and I was the fourth/last girl about to enter .

The damn scary spider , which Kit described it as palm size , black and hairy , literally flew in from of her ! She screamed .

With Arachnophobia , my tears just rolled down suddenly . I managed to see the legs of that disgusting creature when Kit screamed .

Ok , I know it seems so pathetic but that's my worst phobia alright ...

Anyway , the night was quite fun especially when talking about lame jokes and ghost stories . haha , Kit is going to haunt me if she can't sleep . LOL .

After work , I went back with Esther and Aki .

Thanks Jojo for the job and sorry for not going Butter yesterday . I was too exhausted .

Hello people . Sorry for not blogging frequently , just that I am very 'emo' these days as my darling boy went into army on last friday .

Worse , I wasn't able to send him into Tekong as I got presentation on Friday . Haiz , so unlucky right ?

I wasn't in a very good mood and I tend to cry at night . Insomnia + losing of appetite is probably one of the worst senario I can get .

I think it's kind of tedious for me to wait for 9:30pm for just one call . Sometimes , you may not be able to talk for 10 minutes due to the late dismissal .

But thankfully , I have great friends who comfort me all the time .

Thanks for tolerating my grumbling and strange temper for these days . I will try my best to endure the loneliness .

Anyway , I spent my days doing work , shopping with my sisters + waxing etc . I think I am doing fine in the day .

At night , it's my pooh family which accompany me at night till I sleep .

Ok , actually there is nothing special to write since I wasn't in the mood to do anything either .

Monday
I went to school for the the boring morning lecture . I slept half of it . LOL .

After the class has ended , I was standing aside talking to the XW and others . Just when we about to leave , I fell down because half of my foot slipped into the drain .

You know those metal cover with lots of parallel lines ? I didn't know the school ones have such a big hole , at least bigger than those in the public .

It's badly swollen and I couldn't walk properly .

Luckily got Nala , Lyn and XW helped me to hold my stuffs . Additional thanks to my anata , who became my 'clutches' for the day ((:

The remaining lessons were really boring and I just 'stone' in the class doing nothing .

After class , I went back with Terence . Dear met me at MRT station before going home with me . Dear is soooo kind to fetch me home once he knew I fell down .

Dear forced me to see Chinese doctor and I was frightened like hell . Thankfully , the clinic was closed on that day . We ended up just eat buy some finger food back (:

But seriously , I think I got to go to hospital to check for ligament tear as I keep on injuring the same foot . I don't want to be crippled in the future !

Tuesday
Dear came to my house early in the morning to accompany me to see doctor . He is soooo nice to buy soya milk for me ((:

Anyway , there is no dislocation . It's just a sprained at the mini toe joint . I think it will be hard to recover since I have to walk everyday .

After that , we went home and I took a short nap before going to dear's house . The weather was freaking warm that day .

Stupid weather , it's getting hotter as time goes by .

Dear's mummy asked me how come I keep on falling down . hahahas , I guess I am just being too careless and clumsy bahhs .

I ate lunch at dear's house and took a nap till evening . I know it's fattening . LOL .

During evening , we went to meet dear's friend , Eugene and Dereck for dinner . We ate at 18chef again ((:

After dinner , dear and I went to bought our stuffs and then went back home .

Yesterday
I am such a good girl for going to class on time yesterday . LOL .

Lesson was damn boring but still , I tried my best to listen . I even watched show at CPPB . hahas . I think that's the cons of having an Iphone . Too tempting to use it xD

After class , I took some photos for IDEAS before rushing to business school . It's for the fashion show . Thank goodness that I am still able to wear the heels for the catwalk .

The makeup seems scary , or at least for mine . But after wearing the dress with the hairdo , it's soooo nice and I fell in love with it .

Haha , I think I like to grumble too much , especially when some MUA whom I have never seen their portfolio, touch my face .

I know a model should like their makeup though we may not like it in our heart . I shall not complain too much (:

I must say that I was quite nervous for the fashion show . It's like "what if I fell down ?" or "what if I walked to the wrong place ?" .

But at the end of the day , I think I was doing just fine . I guess I must be grateful that there weren't many audience , or at least not as many as we expected .

After the fashion show , it's our camwhoring session before changing out . I rushed off to Tampines to meet dear after I got everything done .

In the train , everyone was staring at me like nobody's business . Geee , like never see people with such looks before =.=

I met dear and we went for dinner . He cut BOTAK and it looks soooo refreshing . Still , I couldn't stop myself for laughing at the hair . It's not that it's funny but just too cute xD

Overall , I will give a rating of 6.5 out of 10 . I really love the effects in when the people entered the mirror . However , the story is way too complicated for me to understand that I even fell asleep .

I think partly because of the passing away of Heath Ledger when they were still filming the show . The plots have to change and that explains the different looks of Tony when entering the mirror .

After reading Wikipedia , I think it's quite an orginal story with interesting plots . But too bad that I only understand after reading wikipedia . So no credits to the movie itself .

But I have to admit that the girl who acted as Valentina is very pretty with sexy figure . She has a very retro and fairytale looks , who doesn't seems to be real in our world .

Overall , I think it's only worth watching only if you read wikipedia beforehand if not, you will be bored to death . LOL .

After the movie , we went back home as I was quite tired .

Today
I went out early today but the stupid train broke down suddenly at Paya Lebar . What a day , just when I got test during the first lesson .

Some people chose to take taxi , but silly me , I waited for the train . The stupid annoucement even announced that we need to wait for half an hour for the next train .

I was like "SHIT LAHH" . Then I called Lyn quickly to ask her to inform my lecturer of this situation .

Thankfully , the train worked again after waiting for 10 minutes . Best of all , I managed to get back to my original seat . LOL .

However , I overslept till Clementi again . Haiz , I was way too unlucky in the morning . Must be a bad omen for failing excel . HAHA

Jerome and Terence were affected by the damn train too .

The test was like shit , I don't even know how to do certain parts . Luckily , I managed to remember some of it which saved my ass for this test .

Ok , I got to admit I suck at such software . I am an Excel idiot . LOL .

After class , I went to Tampines to wait for dear . He was damn tired as he queued for the Burberry sales from 10:40am and done shopping at about 4pm .

It's kind of crazy that people queue up as early as 8am to snatch the goods at discounted price . OR rather , Singaporeans are kiasu and are attracted to the word 'SALES' . LOL .

We went back home and I took a nap since I was very tired . After that , he went down to buy dinner for me .

Till the time whereby he had to go home , I was enduring my tears . I don't wish for him to worry about me even when entering army .

I guess I am trying way too hard ...

When we talked on phone at night , he knew I am very upset till now and he encouraged me to cry . I couldn't take it and cry till now ...

I will look very ugly tomorrow . It's too hard for me , especially I can't send him off to Tekong since I have presentation .

Ok , I just need to be alone for now .
