Monday
It was HCI open . My event was supposed to be on Wednesday but it was shifted to Monday . Oh well , pros and cons .
I supposed to meet Joey in the morning but I woke up late . I took bus to Newton then changed bus to HCI . It was a long journey and I was quite sleepy .
We spent our time doing nothing till afternoon as our event registration starts at 2pm . We watched our fellow fencers fenced for awhile before going for lunch at the school cafe .
The pineapple fried rice is delicious !
Seriously , I wasn't in the mood to fence . I haven't been fencing or exercising since FSI (July).
My leg hasn't really recover with the additional injury of my right index finger . The joint is swollen up till today , and it really plays a part in fencing :(
Everything seems to be in a mess . Like the DT table called me for nothing when I have already marked my attendence and forgot to take my gloves when waiting for my turn to fence .
Really got to thanks to Matthew and Terence for helping me to settle these 2 things when I wasn't able to settle it myself .
Just by fencing round robin nearly killed me off . In addition , there wasn't much interval between each match .
For round robin , I lost 2 won 3 , which makes me the 5 position out of 10++ fencers . But I managed to bypass the rounf of 16 . So I just need to fence one person to get a trophy .
It wasn't that easy with the injury , same with the other girl too . I guess it was pure luck that I won her due to time's out with the score of 13-12 .
As for the next fencer which determined if I proceed to the finals , she was the top for this event's round robin and she wasn't in my poule . When we salute , I realised why she was the top .
Answer: She is a lefty .
Many beginners are usually not use to fencing lefty because lefty themselves are considered rare . I am not a pro , but at least I have experience for fencing lefty back in secondary school .
It was a close one but I managed to win her . Pure Luck with the help of Davin and Edwin (:
The final was a terrible one . I lost 15-14 just because I couldn't stand the tiredness of my arms and I let it go . Sounds like a sore loser , but ya , that's what happened that day .
Overall , I am quite surprised that I can go to the finals with not fencing or doing any form of sports training for about 5 months . Good enough (:
Congrats to Veronica and Joey for coming 2nd too !
After the competition , I rushed down to town to meet dear . We went to have our dinner and quickly shopped for some of the presents .
Tuesday
I am practically rotting at home with all my body aching , especially my back , right arm and legs .
This is what you get for not exercising for a long period of time . LOL .
I brought my sisters out in the evening to look for dear before going for our last minute shopping at Plaza Singapura .
Wednesday
Again , I was really tired but I got to work in the evening at Chong Pang Camp .
To my surprised , there were 22 girls in total . More than what I have expected / what i have seen back then .
The only familiar faces were Janice babe , Joey laopo , Annabel and Jerrie (My 1st time meeting her) . The others was either first timer or something .
Working with Janice and Joey was fun ! We haven't been working together ever since the Singtel event back in 2007 .
It's really nice to work there because the people there were very friendly and best of all , we got to take photo by a photographer !

Best of all , there are free ice creams for us to take ! A job that can eat , drink , make friends etc , who doesn't want such a job ?

We went off at about 12am . Many people were either drunk and vomitted or half dead . Luckily , I only drank half a can of Tiger beer (I don't like it =.=) .
Thank goodness that someone was fetching us back if not Joey and I had to share cab back . Joey came to my house and stayed overnight . We watched Armageddon till about 4am ++ before we went to sleep .
Thursday
It's Christmas eve !
Joey laopo and I went out early as I have to work in the afternoon . I ended up taking a cab to YCK as I wasn't able to make it on time .
It's a private function event and my job was supposed to be a model/emcee there . However , I didn't really do anything much except to join in the fun .
Still , I was trying hard for not to get the money for nothing .
After the event , I went back to Tampines to meet my fellow friends at MRT station before shopping for groceries .
We bought many things back but luckily , there were many people present . $10 per person isn't too much right ?
My sisters and Lyn started with the cooking while the others sat outside playing games . After that , Lyn helped me to wrap some presents .
Dear took cab to my place and we brought the DVD player and the wire that connects laptop to the TV . It saved us from boredom . Thanks love (:
The funny thing that happened on that day was Alif was trying to help my sisters to open the Spaghetti sauce's jug . He punched too hard that the bottle broke at the bottom .
Everyone was like damn panic and shocked . I should have taken the photo of the mess . LOL .
Dinner was steamboat , spaghetti and Japanese curry rice . Luckily the food was more than enough for everyone to eat .
Edmund went off after dinner while the rest stayed overnight .
The presents are really wonderful !
I got a handphone holder for gift exchange , Makeup bag from Colleen , Chocolate from my sisters , Dancing snowman doll from my aunt , strawberry strudel from yiwen and Shu Uemura limited edition eye shadow/blusher from dear !
We spent our time watching movie . However , I slept early as I was tired from working and doing all this chores . hahaha .
Yesterday

Everyone was dead in the afternoon , including me .
Some of them even stayed awake not sleeping . That was really pro because I couldn't do that , at least for the day before .
We spent our whole day watching movies and eating . Simple day but everyone seems to be enjoying that day (I hope so...) .
The only shocking thing was Yan Xun broke my plate suddenly and it scared the hell out of me .

Anyway , all of them went off at about 10pm ++ to catch their last train while XW went off earlier . It's great to spend the day with them (:
Today
I woke up late today and I still feel the tiredness from the few working days and sleeping late etc .
I was doing nothing till late afternoon as I was meeting dear for dinner at IMM . Nothing much , just that I wait for him till work ends and he sent me back to Tampines (:
Ok that's all for now . I know it's damn long .
