DAY 6
We went to the Taipei Astronomical Museum aka Planetarium, hoping it's similar to the ones shown in Dorama, Anime or manga.
You know, those super romantic kind? XD
The ticket to the dome.
To our disappointment, it's more for kids and everything is in mandarin. Like OMG because it's too 'chim' for us to understand :/
At the end of the day, no one understands how to find the constellation. JJ and I fell asleep when watching halfway.
Thank goodness that the ticket is only about SGD4. If not, it will be a waste of money.
After that, we went to Danshui (淡水) to walk around. The bartender whom we met on the day before recommended us to go there for the food.
Ah-Gei (the beancurd with vermicelli inside).
As we walked along the 淡水老街 (Old street), we saw many stalls selling the local delicacies/food/snacks. It's really affordable and cheaper than the ones found in airport.
One for NT100, buy 5 get 1 free is the best deal we saw while walking.
Bought the super tall ice cream while walking.
Near the sea side.
We bought lots of snacks back home to give away. Way too heavy for all of us to carry. LOL.
After we went back to the hotel to put our stuff, JJ and I went back to the miniature museum to buy more dolls for all of my NOISY 6 girlies. After that, we went to the D-cafe & Maxim for darts accessories.
The things aren't cheap but they have lots of varieties for us to choose.
Changed my flight and shaft to fit flight. Chose pink colour ones. We played for awhile before cabbing back.
At night, we went to a night market recommended by the bartender - 三和夜市 (San He night market). We went there to look for some food which he mentioned to us.
While walking, I decided to try the 臭豆腐 (smelly beancurd). This one is not as smelly as the one I smelt at Shilin but it's quite smelly when I put into my mouth.
The beancurd with veggies.
It tasted alright, not as bad as I think.
We walked around, buying food and some souvenirs back.
bubble tea and mee sua.
The bubble tea shop we fall in love with.
They have really good service on top of the nice bubble tea! Friendly boss (:
After walking around, we went back to the hotel to eat our doughnut.
Bear face doughnut!
Cute right?
Too bad Singapore doesn't have a branch of Mister Donut.
After resting, mummy followed us to the pub where we went on the day before. The 梅酒 (Umeshu) which they made themselves is really nice (:
Had fun there and hopefully, I'll see the guys again!
all about food. haha.
