Outing with Poly Besties + Barcadi Oakheart Event + Rants

Saturday
Met up with my poly peeps for some activities.

Terence, Lyn and Elizabeth met me at Cathay before we drove over to Minds Cafe to meet Edmund and Shaun. Had our lunch there as well.


One of the games which we played.

It's really fun and we really came out with lots of stupid things. Haha.

Wanted to have pancakes for dinner but Strictly Pancakes was fully booked. No choice, we headed to Plaza Singapura to shop and eat.

After having dinner at Ajisen, I went to Clarke Quay for Bacardi Oakheart sampling event. Worked with Cordelia, Alethia and Jia Qian.

After work, Yan Xun was waiting at CQ before we waited for the others to pick us up. Together, we went to Pub Magician for some drinks.

As usual, the game 007 really made us laughed like mad ＼(^▽^＠)ノ

We stayed till 4 plus and Bb came over to pick me up.

As usual, breakfast with Jas and YM before heading to class.

Good news for the day:
I PASSED MY GRADE 8 EXAM!

YES! NO MORE NIGHTMARE OF ME FAILING THAT STUPID EXAM (✌ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞


GRIN! NEXT WILL BE CONQUERING INTERMEDIATE!

And to my surprise, I passed Danse Russe!
Old auntie dance. HAHA.

Evening time, Bb and I went to Bugis to meet Fel and Yang for dinner.

We had dinner at House of Steamboat.

After that, we went to Bugis+'s arcade since we had nothing better to do.

Enjoyed playing Jubeat.
Finally there's one place whereby the machine is in online mode.

Was playing DDR with the guys.
It's great that the machine has older songs from the past version but they don't have the songs which I played back then.

Monday
Went for a job interview.
And it was freaking far - Woodlands/Admiraty.

One whole chain of sucky things happened:
Took a bus, alighted at wrong stop, walked under the hot sun for half an hour at a stretch of deserted-looking road along the plants which made me feel uncomfortable due to the phobia I have.

No sp*ders but there was a big lizard which crawled past me.


How miserable o(╥﹏╥)o

Called Bb and just to complain.
I just want to listen to some nice words which make me feel better.

Out of expected, I got scolded for complaining and 怨天怨地.
Totally no sympathy and empathy at all.

After tweeting 'No sympathy at all', all I got was twitter war; saying that I won't blame myself but other people/things for whatever bad things which happened.

Now I don't even can complain and must carry all the blames ??

Great, my 'lovely' boyfriend can't even listen to my rants.
Then what's the point of having one??!!


Saw this quote in instagram. So true and it made me feel better.

Waited for very long for the person to bring me down for interview.
and the lab manager chose a very noisy place to interview me.

Worst, her English was really very bad till I could't understand whatever she was talking about.

And this particular company went against on whatever pay range which they wrote on jobstreet.
It's sooooo much lower, partly because I forget some of my school stuff.

The post stated this:
- Minimum O'level
- Pay: 2000 to 3500

And I was offered a 1.6k. Like WTF can.

I was willing to travel to Admiraty only for the pay lo.


Pissed.

It's like HELLO??!!
I've graduated for 1 year plus and I think it's understandable that I need to refresh my memory isn't it?

Worst, it's a 3 years contract and she rejected my nails, afraid that they will react with the chemicals.
Ridiculous.

I just merely smile and went off after everything had ended.
It's a nightmare.

On my way back, I was damn tired.
Shared whatever had happened with Ashley, Fel, Krista and Sandrina.

Yesterday & Today
Insomnia, Cold war.

Didn't sleep for the whole night.
Was talking to my sisters about what happened on Monday.

For some reasons, I felt happy. 

Spent my whole day watching 拜金女王 (Material Queen) and blogging.


Breakfast for the day. 

Went for another job interview near my place.

I must say the HR wasn't that effective because throughout the conversation, I wasn't told what company was that. In addition, she didn't even introduced herself until I cut off her blabbering and asked her.

The interview was good, other than I am kinda of unwilling to work on alternate Saturdays.
Other than that, everything is good and my nails are accepted!

Took a nap before heading out for casting.


Makeup for the day. Pardon my tired face. 

Feeling tired.

Casting was alright.
Hopefully, I'll be selected for the job.

Met Janice there and together, we walked to the MRT station.

Went to somewhere near Maxwell market for work.


Food given by the people there. 

Started work 1 hour later was requested.
Good for my partner and I. We were eating slowly, talking and watching TV.

After work, I stayed back to have some drinks before going back home.

Ok, gotta rest.

Thursday
As usual, woke up after my phone was being spammed by calls and whatsapp.

Stayed at home till late afternoon.
Went to meet Fiona at Kembangan to collect my uniform and we headed to town together.

Went for an agency interview so that I can go for the job interview.

I'm a happy girl~ (for some reasons)
What else can beat my happy mood?? XD

After that, I went to work at Grand Park City Hall for Guinness promo.
It's a very quiet place. 

Thank goodness that I've met nice people to entertain me during work.

Friday
Woke up early, carried lots of things and cabbed to Edwards for interview.
Ok, it's not very far from my house.

The interview was normal, just that the place is really quiet since only industries will be located there.

After that, I rushed off the to the F1 pit for one last minute job.

Worked with Eunice and the job was really quite slack.
Nice staff and good welfare.

After the event, I cabbed to SBAB to meet the ladies, Atiqah, Ashley and Nicole for work.

Many cabs refused to let me board up because I was going to use NETS to pay. WTH.
I know they will only get the money on Monday but it's still MONEY right??!!

It's nice working with the ladies.
We even stayed back longer then the working hours (yes, just a short 2 hours).

As usual, I enjoyed working there.

Woke up with headache~

Continued sleeping till it's time for me to go out for work. Again, it's a last minute one.
Oh well, better than nothing.

Worked at Arena with Melinda for Baron promotion.

Job wasn't easy because we gotta try to sell the beer or the shots made by Baron at the club.
Worse, client were there to look. It's very stress.

Thankfully, we managed to sell quite a number of shots.

After work, I bought some supper and went back home.

Sunday
As usual, met Jas and YM for breakfast before going for ballet class.

For some unknown reasons, my left inner thigh starts to hurt AGAIN!
Sigh~ just when I thought it supposed to recover months ago...

I think I gotta give myself some rest from dancing.

At night, I went to Robertson Quay to meet my Britsh friend, Jon.

Jon invited us to his place which is nearby Robertson Quay.
The place is fantastic!

But of course, the rental is scary. LOL.

Yesterday
Rest for the whole day.

At night, I met Keith for dinner at Din Tai Fung.
Bb came over to join us after work.

It's always great to share some thoughts with this good brother of mine.

Today
Feel so pekchek for the day.

I was shocked when my phone has soooooo many unknown numbers.
After that, I realised it's because Bb used my old iphone and forgot to off the wifi.

In the end, some of this colleagues' contacts got synchronize to my current phone.
HOW IRRITATING. 

But at the same time, I managed to delete some contacts whom I can't remember how I got them. No point flooding my own phone book.


My sisters carried this naughty girl into my room.

Went out earlier in the evening to meet XW for dinner.
So rare of him for wanting to meet me in the East area. HAHAHA. (I think he will kill me when he sees this)


1 for 1 frolick on Tuesday! 

We had dinner together and went to starbucks to chat.
It has been a long time since we had the chance to talk for this long.

I really can't wait to meet my poly classmates soon (:

Saturday
Woke up late for class and Bb drove me to town. I was late for barre work :/

AND Bb and YM were allowed to sit in for the class. Good thing that both guys can accompany each other while watching. HAHA.

After that, we went NUH to visit Bb's grandma. But unfortunately, there wasn't a ward available and hence, we'll have to visit on another day.

Rushed home to prepare for work. Bb drove me to my workplace ((:

I was working for Elit by Stolichnaya Launch with 5 babes; Janice, Joanna, Cheryl, Eils and Nicole.

The job was alright, other than one of the guests fell directly onto my right foot. It was damn painful that I couldn't walk and thank goodness that I didn't sprain my ankle.

No choice but to sit aside and put some ice for the pain to go away.

Luckily, Bb was at nearby and he agreed to come over to pick me up from work.

Really need to thank the girls for the wonderful night. If not, it will be damn boring.

Sunday
Woke up early for my ballet class.

I must say that I begin to like my grade 8 dance, especially Valse Printemp. I still hate the jumps. Haha.
I'll try my best to catch up!

After class, Jas, YM and I went to eat Selegie beancurd before heading home.

I think I'm going to be broke soon; 
Exam leaotard, class leotard, scarf, character shoes, chiffon skirt, chracter skirt, nude leotard, coaching fees, exam fees and class fees.

Sigh~ totally off my December budget :((

Monday
Woke up in the afternoon and met momo for lunch at SIM before heading to work.

SIM is not too big but still quite cool for a private school. Too bad that they don't have a course which I'm interested in.

After I got my thing, I went to work.

When I reached Loof, I realised that I was supposed to be at Overeasy. I wasn't told since it's my first day working. I took my uniform there and took a cab to One Fullerton.

Work was alright and I've met nice people. Thanks Sheena for the recommendation (:

Yang, Fel and Bb came over to look for me and we went home together.

Tuesday
Couldn't sleep after I was woken up in the morning.

I was kinda of pissed of the lady who interviewed me for the beauty consultant job.
She obviously didn't know that the contract with her agency will not take effect until I accept the job introduced by them.

When you want to be an agent, know what is in your contract please.

Work at Overeasy in the evening. A little tiring from running around but I love my job.

Yesterday
Met Felicia for lunch at Kallang Leisure park while waiting for Yang and Bb to meet us for Ice Skating.

Ice skating was fun! 
Poor Felicia, who tried ice skating for the first time have to try her best to learn. XD

After that, I went to One Fullerton's starbucks to rot and charge my phone till it's time to report for work.

Worked in the dinning area and it is kinda of packed as it's Wednesday night.

Everything was fine except that the stupid ah tiong dishwasher woman made me angry. Like excuse me, I didn't owe you anything. 

Today
Woke up early because I was being 'forced' to go for Anna Sui's interview even though I told the agency that I've already got a job =.=

And I think the lady who interviewed me looked like the bitchy woman whom I've met years ago for a job interview.


I seriously don't know why I need to fill up the Primary school section. Does it really matter for a sales position ? :/

Went for my coaching class after that. The valse printemps really made my head damn pain.

After class, I went to meet my mum and sisters at town. Yang and Fel came to meet us after that. We went to have dinner together.

We went separate ways as I have to buy some Christmas presents. It's quite a pain in the ass to buy Bb's present because his size is way too small.

Movie Reviews - Ah Boys Turn Men + Photoshoot + Belinda's Birthday

Monday
Woke up early to give Bb a morning call.

Managed to go back to sleep but I was disturbed by a call from a job agency. I was asked to go down for an interview on Wednesday.

Went back to sleep till late afternoon as it was a long day for me.

Waited for Bb to come home so that we could head out for the Belinda's birthday party at Aloha Changi, which is quite deserted.

We went back with mummy to borrow her SLK to go out.

Went in and saw many friends of mine. We ate, waited for the rest of the Best Model girls & committee to reach and we sat together.

Bb and I left in the rush because we were supposed to meet Casper and Valerie for movie.

However, we were kinda of pissed when someone said this in Hokkien "Drive Mercedes very big meh??!!".

I know our car was blocking the entrance BUT there were many cars blocking one another.
And we quickly rushed out to move the car as soon as Belinda shouted and asked who's Mercedes was it belong to.

Imagine even after we drove out of the compound to open the top, NO ONE drove out for goodness sake.

I swear almost every car except for ours didn't managed to drive out.

Like seriously, don't blame it on us just because of the brand. That's VERY CHILDISH of the person who said that.


Bb was driving the car.

It was about the rain when we were on our way to bugis+. Thank goodness that we were already near the tunnel so we managed to escape the rain.

We watched Ah Boys to Men.


Overall, I'll give a rating of 8 out of 10. Quite an interesting movie but it will be good if you watch with guys who have been through NS so that they can roughly explain certain things for people who don't really understand.

I must say I really like those graphic parts on the fighter jets. Like I always say, I'm damn weird to like aircrafts. HAHA.


SLK outing!

After the movie, we went to somewhere near NAFA campus 3 for supper.


Strawberry prata. I still like Banana ones though.

We went back to return the car before heading home.

Tuesday
It was raining heavily outside till I felt kinda of lazy. HAHA.
Spent my day blogging and then talking on phone with Bb.

Wednesday
Didn't sleep for the whole night till it's time to wake Bb up.

After that, I slept till it's time to go out for my interview. Decided not to put any makeup since there'll be a makeup artist to do it for me during the photoshoot.

In the end, I was still late for my interview and forgot to bring my certificates out. I ended giving some usable excuses to cover myself. Luckily, the lady was quite nice during the interview.

The job offered 1.7k to 1.8k for 5.5 days.
Oh well, still gotta see if I am selected for this job interview.

After interview, I went to Orchard for a quick shopping before heading to my photoshoot venue.


Had Modanyaki for lunch.

I went around to buy some essential and of course, to look around for some Christmas present. I have a list of people to buy for.


It's not very clear but I wanna get the Prada wallet (Light pink) ! (=^-ω-^=)

During shopping, I also saw some nice accessories from Agnes B. I really feel like getting the necklace and earrings to wear for special occasions. Shall shop again very soon!

Took train and bus to my photoshoot venue. In the end, I was 20 minutes early and stuck outside the studio. Luckily, my agent came early to open the door for me.

The shoot is a fashion shoot with dramatic eye makeup and with the use of light sticks.

After the shoot, Jackie drove me to Farrer Park to find Bb.

Yesterday
Woke up early when Bb went to work. I spent my time clearing my facebook friend request before it's time to head to town for 2 job interviews.


Looks for the day (and yes, I wore back the dress since it's only used for the 1 hour out of the 2 hours photoshoot.)

Went to the first interview at one job agency. I must say the lady really pissed me off. 
She made me waited for damn long and the discussion didn't go well.

All the jobs she offered me were 1.5k to 1.6k.
Worse, mostly at Tuas area and she didn't believe that I said even if I travel from Jurong East, it's going to spend 1 hour, not to mention that I'm staying in the East area.

So what if there's transport from the East? I would have wasted more than 2 hours just to travel to and fro. I rather use the time and work for other jobs.

If  I want to work at Tuas, I can just try applying for those oil refinery companies already.

I also told her that I'm not interested in admin jobs yet she still attepted to push quite a few admin jobs to me. ZZZZZZ.

What's worst was that she made me do this stupid personality test and I almost dozed off. 

WHY? because all the questions are the 'WHAT IF' type since I have never do certain jobs like hands on ones before.

Waste my time going down. 

After that, I went around shopping then have some food and tea at TCC before heading to my next interview with Prada.

Potato Wedges. 

The Prada interview turned out to be a disappointment.
Instead looking for part timers, they are just looking for temporary staff to work for the festive season period.

Unlike what Candy's friend (who worked back 2 years ago?) had told her, it's not like a 15/hour job. It's a 7/hour job with NO COMMISSION.

It's like totally not worth the time to work. To think that big brands pay so low YET without commission. It really surprised me.

I mean like usually it's like that; Either high basic with/low commission or low basic with high commission. 

Oh well...

After the interview, I went back to Bb's house. Really damn exhausted for waking up early and stay awake till evening time.

Bb and I went out to meet Yang and AA to play LAN for awhile.

Today
Woke up late and prepared for work. Tired.

Supposed to work with Atiqah but because of some stupid issues, she ended up couldn't work. Left with Gillian, another woman, Jasline, and I.

Nothing much, it's really a small event in TAB.
I must say I met one irritating guy again, after a year. Zzzzz. 

Something happened during the event but shan't say much. I was kinda of shocked.

After that, one of the guys drove me to find Bb before heading back home.

Ok, gotta prepare to meet Ambrose to chill.
