SP Graduation + rants

Monday
Random: Happy for my iphone's voice control to be deactivated.
So that I won't make any random calls at midnight due to voice detected. Only can be done through jail break. Apple should do something about it!

Thinking if I should go for graduation. But after many persuasion from mummy, auntie and others, I decided to get my robe ASAP.

Seriously, renting and buying the robes are way too expensive. And who the hell will buy? Put at home to rot or rust???

Uncle drove me out to get the robe (and it's nice to sit in the new SLK). LOL. However, uncle's driving really scare the hell out of me.

We literally drove around the whole Singapore to find the shop. It's damn irritating because the roads around the area are forever on construction. 

WHERE GOT SHOP LOCATED AT SUCH A ULU PLACE?!?!

And I can't believe that I'll need to go back there to return the robe =.=


Tuesday
GRADUATION DAY !

I'm glad that mummy is willing to come for my graduation though it's damn far away. I wished daddy could be there too. Oh well, he has to work...

Of course, it's such a pity that I don't have a boyfriend to attend with me. Haha!

The weather was really warm! It sucks especially when I have to wear formal clothings, which means long sleeves ! Irritating to the max !

Side track: I almost lost my phone. I dropped it beside mummy's car and walked off. Thank goodness that the place was filled with cars and not many people walked there.

We had our lunch at McDonald's and slowly walked into the convention centre.

Got all my certificate and stuff. I was a little nervous though. LOL.

After that, I went to find my MISS LIM, who forever go missing. At last I got to see her but I didn't know that I'll meet her, so I left her present for the 20th birthday at home :/

I went back home without taking the photos because it's too crowded to find my classmates and of course, mummy wanted to avoid traffic jam since my ceremony ends at late afternoon.

At night, I went out with my brothers. I was damn pissed because I felt uncomfortable standing outside the shop and yet, they stayed in the shop for almost an hour....

Wednesday
Slept for the whole day but I was still feeling very tired.

At night, we tried to get back our dartslive card but we couldn't find zhiwei. So we ended up playing without it. It's kinda of irritating till I felt like going downstairs, illuzion, to play phoenix ones instead.


Yesterday
Had sore eye in the morning; couldn't stop tearing and feel the itchiness.

Mummy and I went for breakfast together. I ended up relied on her to buy my food because my left eye's vision became blurred. all thanks to the sore eye.

At night, Steve, JJ and I went to Temple pub for another new inter-pub dartslive league. Of course, JJ was playing. It's pretty exciting during the last few matches.

Steve and I watched the matches and we started playing logo quiz. LOL. It's sooooo interesting!

After that, we went to simpang bedok for supper. Des and Sheena came over to join us.

Sigh~ June is a month with lots of big events but till now, I have NONE!
I think I have my profiles for countless time....

And May, I didn't even work much. This means I'll be damn broke in June.

Ok, gonna prepare for work at Bark's cafe. Hopefully, it will be a pleasant place to work at.

Movie Reviews - The Hunger Games + Graduate from SP + Photoshoots

Monday
In the morning, I received a random call from daddy.

Called me in the morning to nag me about relationship stuff; find a man who can love me more than I love him.

Last time, my boyfriends loved me more than I loved them, the relationships fail. Found one whom I love him more than he loves me, it doesn't work out either.

Then what? be a lesbian? :/

SIGH~

Rot at home and did nothing.

Around evening time, I received a message from SP, stating that I passed all the modules, though I got 2 D-.

I know it's pathetic but I managed to get through this whole diploma in SP!
Relief. At least I don't have to repeat any modules after my last semester.

Results was supposed to be out at midnight, or rather Tuesday morning. But receiving it early is not that bad either (:

GRADUATE LO ! HAHAHA.

At night, we went to Liang Court for dinner - Shabu no Koya.

After that, we went to Meidi-ya to buy things and I bought some tibits for myself .

After going back home, JJ and I decided to head to Mustafa. I have never been there before (Yes, I know I'm very sua-gu).

Tried to search for a nice shades but I couldn't find a good one which fits my face. So far, only sleepyhead's Burberry shades suit me best. Sigh~

Anyway, there are soooooo many things selling there. I was surprised to find many brands at the shop.

Tuesday
In the morning, I headed to Bukit Batok to meet the photographers for the day, Derrick and Joshua.

Our 1st venue was Bukit Batok Nature Park. Luckily, there wasn't lots of mozzies around. Shoot at that venue last for around 45minutes to 1 hour.

Next venue: Bukit Timah Saddle Club.

It's an club which is no longer in use, so it's quite dirty at certain place. There were many mozzies and other insects there.

Luckily, Derrick brought an insect repellant and the smell was not too bad (:

The shoot lasted for another 2 hours. We packed and went off. One of the places wasn't in good condition so our initial plan was cancelled.

After the shoot, Derrick drove us to ION orchard to have lunch. It's nice of them to treat me, partially because I successfully graduate. Nice people to chat with.

I managed to charge my phone before going for work. I rushed to work after lunch, working at AFTC with Atiqah, Jojo and other girls.

Thanks Xian Kai for driving us to our destination. I went to Illuzion to watch the dart competition before heading home.

Wednesday
Got lots of mozzie bites on me, especially after Tuesday's shoot :/

Spent my day rotting at home till at night. Went to Butter to party. Supposed to go to Zouk to see the Mambo night (Yes, I'm another sua-gu who has never been to Mambo night).

BUT the guys changed the venue ! Don't feel like going but I have promised Eugene when I was working on Tuesday.

Anyway, it's nice to party with my friends (:

Yesterday
As usual, it's a mundane day for me.

Night time, Aaron came over to have dinner with us then we waited for Rubina. Together, we went to Nex to watch movie.

And the place, it reminded me of something....

We watched The Hunger Games.


Overall, I will give a rating of 9 out of 10. It's really a good show with very interesting concept. However, I just got a feeling some details are missing. Shall read the book to find out more .

I must say some scenes are really gore, but it's worth the money to watch the show.

Today
Woke up early to meet the photographer for a shoot. The meeting place was at Plaza Singapura's Starbucks. Atiqah came later as she overslept.

The shoot was quite ok, though the weather was really hot for all of us.

After our shoot, we went to have our lunch at Park mall . I was feeling sick, so I didn't eat a full meal. Faiz came over to look for us before we went to Bugis to meet my sisters for shopping.

Tried to shop for some clothes but failed. There's always this pattern:
When I am broke and I go for window shopping, there seems to be many things for me to buy. When I have money and I go out to buy things, THERE'S NOTHING FOR ME TO BUY.

WHAT IS THIS LOGIC?!?! ARGHHH.

Anyway, I wasn't feeling very well so I didn't have the mood to shop either.

Mummy came over to meet us and we went to grab some desserts before going back. Supposed to shop longer but my gastric wasn't feeling very well :/

I ended up cancelling my night shoot :(

At night, I got 'fly aeroplane' by 3 people for mahjong (though all have valid reasons).

Marck couldn't make it and texted me in the morning. I asked Steve instead. Sheena fell sick so she got to rest at home. Luckily, JJ can make it.

In the end, Steve went MIA =.=

Oh well, just our luck.

Unofficial graduation + Party + Removing of braces

Saturday
Ballet in the afternoon.

Ms Ng took over the class (permanently, I think). The pilates moves really kill me but that means I slacked off for too long.

I went to Popeye with Alicia and Cherrilynn for a light meal before going back home. JJ came over to pick me up (:

My house was crowded with guests; Des korkor, Sheena, JJ, Yang and Aaron. Everyone came over for dinner.

The guys were stuck inside the kitchen, cooking for us (though Des korkor supposed to be the only one cooking for us).

Yang cooked for my sisters and Des korkor cooked for Sheena.

In return, my sisters cooked for all the guys. And of course, their's tasted the best among all the Aglio Olio. LOL.

Played 2 pots of mahjong till morning.

Sunday
Woke up in the afternoon to go for hot yoga class with mummy.

Class on Sunday was fun and I like the Yoga instructor for the day.
I was really in the mood for stretching though my muscles hurt after Saturday's ballet class :/

After class, we went to Tampines mall to buy our stuff. Mummy wanted to look at heels, so we headed to Charles and Keith.

Shopped for quite some time, she bought her own heels and one pair of sandals for me ((:

We also went to a knitting shop to get my stitch marker.
Finally can start knitting my beanie ! Hehee. Hope it will be a good one XD

Grabbed a bite at McDonald's and we were chatting for very long. We always have a long talk when it's just the 2 of us or even with my sisters.

At night, I was craving for the famous nasi lemak near Tanjong Katong. Ended up asking mummy for the address and JJ drove me there to have dinner.

Monday
Tired; paid my sleep debt for the whole afternoon.

At night, my family, des korkor, JJ and Yang have dinner together at Lavender Food Square. We ate the famous Wanton mee .

After that, we dropped Des korkor at the nearest MRT station before heading to Illuzion. Yang and JJ were playing darts and I was there knitting and singing to past time.

Tuesday
Procrastinating again; no feel to study for PCCC.

Addicted in watching the drama, 步步惊心.
It's like sooooooo exciting, especially with 吴奇隆 acting the 4th prince.

I watched till evening time then I started studying for my exam . Last paper, students will tend to be in a holiday/graduate mood.

What's more was this module was kind of bimbotic.
Eg. What's the function of face powder? =.=

But of course, there are some technical terms and some chemical names to remember.

Yesterday
2012 is a leap year; there's 29 Feburary in the calender.

Last paper and it was manageable.

It has been a long time since I stepped into butter, since my birthday week if I wasn't mistaken. Won't be as crazy as the past but no harm letting my hair lose once in a while (:

I must say I was disappointed and upset because we were quite close (as a friend of course) but I wasn't told that he has a girlfriend.

Oh well, it's other people's freedom. There's nothing much I can do.

Faiz and I left at 3am since the others left early.

Today
Slept through the afternoon and went to remove my braces in the evening.

Hate the process as taking out the 4 metal rings from the teeth really hurt as much as putting them in.

While cleaning the bonding off my teeth, a hole was spotted in between the last 2 teeth from upper left. I was asked to go for filling ASAP. Sigh~

Whatever it is, it feels good to get rid of my braces after 1 year and 8 months !

Getting my retainers on Saturday so I can't really eat food which are too hard. Afraid that the teeth will shift slightly.

Something unpleasant happened in the evening. Shan't think about those shit anymore. Spoil my mood only.

Went out in the evening to meet Sarah at Tampines mall. PK came to meet us afterwards. Together, we cabbed down to Calene's 21st birthday celebration.

It has been a long time since the 4 of us meet up. Last time was back in 2010, Sarah's birthday.

We know each other since primary 3 (with pk) & primary 4 with Sarah & Calene. More than 10years already !

Monday
Procrastination; no mood to study for LM in the day.

Was too bored that I was reading some past messages from someone. They were filled with laughter, sadness and lots of mixed feelings.

Studying was dragged on to the next day....

Tuesday
Screwed up my sleeping hours but got to study for the day.

Mummy bought my lunch back and I ate before heading to TP to meet Sheena for mugging session.

There were sooooo many things to memorise and I was trying hard to stuff them into my puny brain :/

After studying, Sheena and I went to the coffee shop near my house for dinner.

Later part of the night, I went to meet Alif bro and Ren Aun to copy notes. That's for skipping too many LM lectures.

Wednesday
LM paper was alright. The questions are manageable (:

Around noon time, I went to FC 3 to grab a bite - Mango-strawberry juice + Banana waffles. Fruity lunch !

After that, we went to concourse area to study for ICP. Luckily, XW was able to teach me the basic for Chan's part.

But the contents were very boring till I kept on dozing off :/

Rushed back to Tampines after I understood the stuff. Met mummy and my sisters for haircut session at Tampines 1 Twister.

Cut, treatment and did magic volume straightening.

I sat for 5 hours plus till my butt hurts. Poor Kason who had to OT just to get all of our hair done. Good service as always ! (:

After that, we went to Century Square to have our dinner.

Went back home after dinner to find out that I have a slip from Singpost, asking me to collect my mail.

Sigh~ already kinda of predicted it should be here soon but didn't expect it to arrive when no one was at home :(

At night, I tried my best to study for Cheng's part but there were too many things to memorise. Hate it max.

Yesterday
Overall, I got killed by the paper. Left a 15 marks question blank.

Both parts killed all of us. Came down after paper and everyone's face was black; apparently they couldn't really answer those questions.

This is the first time I really want to pray hard for a D-. I don't want to forward this disgusting module.

After school, JJ came to pick me up and we went to Serangoon for awhile before he sent me to AMK.

Met mummy at McDonald's for lunch then go for my manicure appointment.

Initially, I want to do a pastel colour design for my nails but after looking at the Japanese magazine, I decided to do a variation for one design.

After that, I waited for mummy to get her nails done before we went to get our knitting stuff.

We went to supermarket to buy some stuff to cook but after that uncle called and we have to go out for dinner .

The sudden change of plans made me unable to collect my things =.=

Pissed when I reached home. Arghhh.

Today
In the morning, I accompanied JJ to see doctor at Novena. We had breakfast at some stall.

Went back home in the afternoon and prepared for work.


Makeup and hair for the day.

I rushed to post office to collect my stuff before heading to work. Luckily, the box was small and I could carry it to work.

Journey to the west was boring; no story book as I have yet to wrap it and no knitting as I have yet to get my stitch marker :/

Met Gillian and we went to TAB for work. Work with Nicole and Katherine too.

Overall, work was alright. Someone supposed to send me back but JJ and Yang came over to pick me up. So nice of them (:

Reached home and I was eager to open up my mail.


Finally, it reached my hands....

Almost wanted to rip the box but oh well....

Movie Reviews - 爱 + Valentine's Day + Delivering roses

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO EVERYONE !

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO STEVE KORKOR AND FAIZ ((:



In case anyone don't know about history of Valentine's day, here's the link to the one I read and posted back years ago: History of Valentine's day

Like I always tell other people, Valentine's Day is a day not only for couples but friends too.

In the morning, I received quite a number of Valentine's tweets from my girlfriends and whatsapp from sleepyhead.

Valentine's Day but not public holiday. People will still have to go to school or work. My case? Lecturer dragged us back for one exam. So not romantic.


Makeup and hair for V-day.

Since the day before, I was looking forward to meeting Alex in the morning as he said his korkor got something for me.

Initially, I thought it was the things he sent from the states. At the same time, I felt weird because sleepyhead asked me for my address before.

That boy also whatsapp me on the day before to check on my V-day schedule...

So I decided to wait till Alex's call to see what is it.

Alex reached my house downstairs later than what I expected. By then, it was about time for me to go to school.

And to my surprise, Alvin asked him to get a bouquet of roses for me. That's soooooo sweet of him. It's my first time receiving a bouquet of roses .

Really touched by the gesture though he is not physically around in Singapore (:

Brought the roses out to school since I was already heading out .

It felt kinda of weird with people staring at you and the flowers. But eventually, it got better when you see people holding toys and flowers, walking around in school.

cGMP test was so so, should be able to scrap through.

For the day, I was worrying about Des korkor's flower being undelivered. Trying all means to get them reaching Sheena's hand but lots of obstacles between it.

First, it wasn't deliver in the morning. Something went wrong. Discussion and arrangement made.

Secondly, the person couldn't reach Dover at 4pm since she got held up at East area. So I told her to meet me at town, easier for her.

Thirdly, After an hour (shopping + casting), she was still at PIE and caught in traffic jam. So I asked her to head straight to Shangri-la to meet me since Sheena was there.

Next, 15 minutes before Sheena's working time, She just exited CTE. 5 minutes before, car broke down.

GOT SOOOOOO UNLUCKY ANOT ??!!

Then she passed the bouquet to her brother, who was supposed to contact and find me at Holland V.

Ok, let me go back to my own activities before going back to the story.

I went to Holland V for dinner. Met JJ and we went around looking for food.

Now, back to the story.

I WAITED TILL MY PHONE LOW BATT!

Imagine the time needed to find the parking lot, to find a restaurant, wait for food, to eat, to pay the bill, to queue & wait for dessert. It's like more than 1.5 hours !

We went back to the car and waited for another 20 - 30 minutes, then it delivered to me.

At first korkor did said that if the flowers couldn't reach Sheena, take it as he gave it to me.

I will take it if it's 3 stalks of roses.
But no ! This is 20 stalks of roses for goodness sake.

So we rushed to Shangri-la to pass it to Sheena.


and her bouquet was smaller than my own. 20 VS 6 :/

Nevertheless, I was glad that she received it . I can't let korkor's effort goes down the drain. Of course, he got to thank JJ for driving it over. XD

Overall, this year's Valentine's day was well spent;

#1: Early celebration at sentosa with JJ, Yang, Aaron and Rubina. A wonderful day spent.

#2: Morning surprise with bouquet of roses by Alvin.

#3: Dinner and dessert with JJ.

Post Valentine's day; my sisters received flowers as well - From yang.

I'm also thinking of what to get for various people for White Day (refer to the link if you don't know what's that).

Counting down: 4 more school/exam days, 14 days to unofficial graduation.

At night, I transferred the flowers to the containers.

Rotting at home; procrastinating.

Dental clinic called and ask if I was going for the appointment.
How can I be going for tightening when I am scheduled to remove my braces on 1st march ?? :/


A simple sweet gesture from someone we love is something we need to reassure our hearts that nothing changes.

Friday
In the morning, I was caught in a traffic jam.

Even more pissed when there was this old bitch who pushed people hard to move to the rear.

I was late for my test for 10 minutes. The bus was packed that I couldn't study during my journey to school.

Didn't listen in class and to surprise myself with MCQ questions for the test . Hate it to the max.

Had my early lunch and continued with LM lecture. I'm going to study hard for it with the tips given. Shan't screw up any test again.

Went back home and finished watching the old drama 斗牛,要不要


Overall rating: 7.5 out of 10. Not too bad, at least better than some of the new dramas with crappy endings.

At night, my sisters, Yang, Aaron and I went to Arranda Country club to sing. JJ came over to join us after he ended work.

Hearing some songs, I know that I haven't recover from the sadness. Sigh~

After singing, we sent my sisters home and we went to Balestier for supper.

Yesterday
I was a little late for class.

Damn unlucky; I misplaced my hairband and I took the wrong bobby pins for my hair net . How irritating.

After class, I went to Tampines 1 and chat with Cherrilynn while waiting for JJ came to pick me up. I went back home to wash up before going out to meet Aaron and Rubina for a movie.

We watched a Chinese movie - 爱.


Overall, I will give a rating of 9 out of 10 . It's really a nice and touching show; meaningful in certain ways. Quite nice (:

After that, we met Yang at Marina Square and we went back home for Mahjong session with Des korkor.
