Food Tasting Session - MONSTER CURRY

I was invited by Hui Jin for a food tasting session at Monster Curry!

Being an avid Japanese curry lover, I just couldn't resist the offer.
But of course, I'm not new to Monster Curry as I've tried it at Millennia walk.

Any idea what kind of ingredients are used in the curry itself?
My first guess was spice, since most curry out there use spices for the taste and fragrance.

However, I was wrong.
The curry from Monster Curry is made from fruits.

Unexpected right? o(≧∇≦o)

Here's the full list of the food available.

I decided to get the Pork Katsu Curry as I was really hungry.
And of course, since I've tried the Cheese Omelette Curry, I should go for something different.

Our food was served!

Oh by the way, you can choose the level of spiciness for the curry!
Range from Level 1 to 5.

The chilli is something similar to the Hainanese Chicken rice chilli.
It's meant for it to taste something which suits the locals.

Level 1 of spiciness.

Level 3!

I chose level 1 since I can't take too much spicy food.

Ok, let me review about different component of Monster Curry:

Pricing - Definitely affordable for such a big portion! It's range between $12 to $25, depending on what you choose.

Food - Looks great, lots of meat. I don't taste the greasiness even though I had Katsu Curry. The thickness of the curry is just nice.

Portion - Definitely too big for a girl to eat (or maybe it's just me). But who cares? As long it's worth the price, taste nice etc. That's all what it matters.

Location: I'm sure everyone knows where to find it.
