Wednesday
Had a bad morning with one old man pissed me off. Shall not elaborate it to remind me of that pissing moment.

Practical in the morning, followed by breakfast and then tutorial class. I went to my GEMS class after lunch break. I was feeling damn sleepy for the day.

After school, I headed to grandma's house. Had a full lunch/dinner before heading to fetch uncle from work. We went to Plaza Singapura as mummy and uncle haven't eat their dinner.

Later in the night, I went to butter to meet Gillian and Edelyn. Supposed to go with Des korkor but his friends cancelled it. How irritating.

We didn't stay at butter factory for long. We went to Boat Quay to one of the pubs there and had some drink.

I didn't drink much since I promise someone to drink lesser. Limit myself to 3 glasses of martell ((:

After that, I followed Ede and her brother to a Thai Club called butterfly. The songs really remind me of the events on last Friday.

Anyway, we didn't stay there for long. Luckily, there's someone who stayed near me so I have a ride back home.

Thursday
Woke up early to open the studio for the belly dance class .

I was rotting in the studio for the morning . I didn't bring my things to study because I was too sleepy to study for my P&F retest.

I spent my time chatting with Joey on the phone until Ms Ng came. After that, I spent my time chatting with Ms Ng till my mum called me to meet her to buy groceries.

Since Joey was around the area, she joined us for lunch and we had a good chat together. It has been quite some time since I saw her.

Friday
I OVERSLEPT FOR MY P&F PRACTICAL FOR ONE HOUR !!

I have never been late for a practical longer than half an hour ! I was rushing like some crazy woman so that I won't be reaching there any later than 9am .

Worse, it's peak hour and SP is freaking far away from my house. I definitely won't spend the money to take a cab unless I'm having exams on that day . In addition, Perfume lab is sooooo far away !

After practical, I realised something horrible; the tips of my nails turned brown !


See? I wonder if it's the gloves or the chemical which caused this problem.

I ended up asking Ede to help me book an appointment with her friend so that I can remove and change my nail design by Tuesday. I really can't stand looking at my own nails !

After P&F tutorial, I had nose fatigue after smelling so many different types of fragrance. We rushed to our retest venue after tutorial.

The retest was so-so. But the shocking part was they included the things which they just taught us and weren't supposed to be in the MST content =.=

After school, I went to Tampines mall to get the tickets for Ballet Under the Stars (BUTS) 2011 tickets for the girls before going back home.

It wasn't my day because I was having trouble looking for UOB ATM machine to dispense cash. It's just damn irritating !

At night, I went to watch Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. It's the final movie of the Harry Potter series.


Overall, I will give a rating of 9 out of 10. The missing one point was due to the missing of certain parts which I think they are important to be missed out and this movie being the shortest movie of the series.

Still, it's a fantastic movie with all the nice effects (except for the stupid spiders part of course).

And I must comment that the makeup effects for the last scene was really good ! They really look like in their 30s ! (:

It's pretty sad that Harry Potter series has come to the end. I grow up with the movie since I was 10 when the first movie was shown . That's when I started to read all the Harry Potter books.

Even though the story has come to the end, Harry Potter will forever be in our heart as it's part of our precious childhood. Love the series and I believe most people feel the same too (:

After movie, I went home and then went to the coffee shop with Des and steve korkor. It wasn't a pleasant talk because after the talk, I just felt like crying . Shall not think about this anymore.

I am not as strong as people think.

and I don't think I have changed much. Just merely tone down and scold less vulgarities. Isn't that a good change ? :/

Yesterday
Ballet as usual .

After class, I had lunch with my girls and headed back home. I didn't feel good for the entire day even though it's ballet day .

But thanks to Gillian and Ede who replied me on twitter, I felt much better . Thanks loves ♥

Today
Coaching class in the noon.
Our muscles were damn dead from our split marathons ! HAHA .

After class, we went to have our lunch at Pizza hut . I had a long chat with Jinglin and Crystal ♥

We headed to Dhoby Ghaut when it was around 4 plus and when we were opposite Fort Canning, I realised that I forgot to put the tickets into my ballet bag !

I tried calling Jasmine and see if she can ask her boyfriend to drive to my place and get but unfortunately, she didn't pick up !

So we ended up cabbed back to my place and take the tickets . How unlucky :(

By the time we went back there, it was soooooo crowded and it's not easy to find a nice spot . But thankfully, we found a corner which we can see the stage though we were quite far away .

Saw Amelia babe there . It's nice seeing her (:

Throughout the show, I only like Serenade and Swan Lake ACT II the best . I love the Pas de deux for the serenade ♥

After the whole thing, Jasmine's boyfriend drove us back . THANKS !

Movie Review - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 + Dear's back + The Nutcracker in Singapore

Thursday
Grrrr. I hate the alternate Thursday with 2 practicals. It's soooo boring .

Anyway, let me show you an interesting solution.


This standard solution for the practical is pathetic small, 500 microlitre and it costs $500 !

Expensive right ? Imagine my lecturer told us that a student being overly helpful and pour this standard solution into the sink . LOL .

Nothing much else, just that I wasn't in a good mood .

Oh ya, there's a thing which some people may thing I am stupid to do - cover nose when I smell those tyres burning smell . I would say all thanks to my lecturer, Dr Chia . LOL .

First, he told us that the 'pearl powder' in TCM which people eat for good complexion contains lead compound, which will cause people to be 'stupid' when eat excessively .

But of course, it does help you to become pretty due to the lead compound in it .

Next, Po chai pills which people eat for stomachache, diarrhea etc, contains trace amount of mercury.

Now, tyres contain cadmium and if you smell everyday for long period, you will damage your kidneys.

Only if buses can install those internal air circulation like those in mercedes so people won't be smelling those bad air . XD

At night, my sisters and I went to fetch dear from airport . We waited at starbucks for his flight to arrive . But we waited for longer than expected because his flight got delayed .

We took a cab back and the cab driver was horrendous . We just alighted and he quickly stepped on the accelerator to reverse .

Worse, Dear's back was still inside and he didn't bother to wait for dear to check . What kind of fucking service is this ?!

I couldn't remember which company but it's the one without NETS/Credit card payment .

Friday
I didn't go to school as I reached home at 5am . By the time I settled all my stuff, it's almost 6am and I was almost dead .

We slept till noon and we accompanied mummy to expo to shop for a laptop for uncle . The place was filled with many people !

Anyway, I saw some of the babes working - Jojo, Gillian, Chloe and Valerie . Kind of envy , I can't work as I still have to go to school .

Oh ya, dear bought some things for me from Australia .


My new pink Havianas slippers, sweets and marshmallow .

At night, dear and I rushed to NUS cultural hall to watch a dance performance, The Nutcracker in Singapore . It's modified to Singapore style.

It's nice but I would prefer the classic one .

Yesterday
As usual, ballet class in the morning .

I am soooo happy that I am going to fit for my pointe shoes in January . That will the best birthday present for myself (:

After class, I went back home and rest before heading off to dear's home . His things were really heavy to carry that we cabbed there .

During late afternoon, we headed out for salsa . It has been soooo long since I attended the class . Kinda of lost touch .

At night, dear and I went to Yishun GV to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I .

The cinema is finally done with the renovation (:


Overall, I will give a rating of 8.5 out of 10 . For which the 1.5 gone is due to the ending of part I . Although it is understood that there's a part II, but by looking at the ending, you feel pissed .

It will be better if they made this as a movie marathon . The separation is irritating but the more than half a year apart is worse .

Still, most part of the storyline still followed closely with the book, though I know where are the different parts . XD

Today
My muscles are still aching from yesterday's class .

It isn't helping with my night class as I couldn't do much turn with the condition . In addition, I was really tired and I don't know why .

Term 1 results + Review on Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince .

Yesterday
I was really tired that day , didn't get enough sleep ever since the FSI week .

I got back my MIP results that day , and i am quite satisfied with it . HoTA said that as long we get 70 and above , it's considered good .

and i managed to get 2 marks more as HoTA marked me wrong for writing comb as an application for nylon . It's in the notes , so he got to give it to me .

The funny part was he said that because this answer is not popular =.=

My results for the term:
A&P Chem: 46/50 (92%) - A
Basic Maths: 97/100 (97%) - A
CPPA: 34/50 (68%) - C+
MIP: 78/100 (78%) - B+
AE&E: 23/50 (46%) - no grade :(

Japanese Test: 78/100 (78%) - B+
i failed my oral test though :(

CRS written test was really very terrible . I think i strained my hand for writing non-stop for 1.5 hours . Most people wrote about 2 pages but i wrote 4+ pages.

I went to meet dear and to go his house . His mummy cooked chicken rice . It's really very nice ((:

Today
This morning , i went to Tampines mall to meet dear because we wanted to buy movie tickets for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince .

There was a long queue outside the cinema though it's not open yet . Everyone wants to watch Harry Potter .

Well , it's not surprising for the long queue since it just came out 2 days ago .

But the most scary thing was when we checked on the internet for the available time slot in various cinemas , more than 10 slots for GV gold class has been FULLY booked for the next few days .

It's 30 bucks per person , way too expensive . Still , people are willing to spend it for the 2.5 hours duration show .

After buying the tickets , we went to have our breakfast at KFC . This time round , i managed to eat the waffles and scrambled eggs . It's really delicious (:

We went home afterwards to rest since our movie timing was at 6pm .

When we were about to leave the house , i found out that Colleen wanted to watch the show with us . I was very furious about it because i bought the tickets just for dear , my sisters and myself .

I did asked her on the day before if she wants to watch the show , but she couldn't decide since her friends asked her too . I slept quite late on the day before and yet she didn't even tell me anything .

It ended up that my youngest sister let her watch the show . That's so kind of her , but still , i won't forgive her for being so thick skinned at that moment .

Not even a single 'Thank you' at all .

Anyway , we went to bought tibits and sushi before going to the theatre .


This show , i will give a rating of 7 out of 10 . Like what Lyn has told me , it really sucks at certain parts .

For those who have read the novel and watched the movie, it really seems like a slap on the face after watching the show .

Though i only can remember parts of the story as i read the book 4 years ago , it is still very disappointing .

I just cannot simply understand why there are so many irrelevant parts . For example , the part whereby the death eaters attacked and damaged the bridge in the muggle world is not in the book at all .

Moreover , the fighting scene is so pathetic short and many essential parts are not there . In fact , there are a few more memories Harry Potter should see in the Pensieve than just the on related to Horcrux .

It can be as equally as bad as the previous movie , the order of the phoenix .

What's more disappointing is the appearance of Harry Potter . Apparently , his hairstyle is one of the most ugliest in this movie , worse than the previous movies of the series .


This is the photo of Harry Potter in either the Prisoner of Azkaban or the Goblet of Fire . He looked pretty handsome right ?


That's his look at the Order of phoenix , the current one is equally worse . Looks like you put a bowl and cut the hair .

I don't think J.K Rowling ever said that his hair is that short ....

He is supposed to be the most handsome guy and attractive guy but yet , someone took that position .

One of the antagonists , Draco Malfoy .

Isn't he more handsome than Harry Potter in the 6th movie ? I think girls will definitely prefer him to Harry .

Overall , the show is average . What i like is the visual effects , looks real and nice . What i hate was the choosing of scenes for this movie . Too many irrelevant things here and missed out the important ones .

and for those people who have watched the show , don't you think that Dumbledore's death doesn't seems to be as sad as when Sirius Black died back in the Order of the Phoenix ?

Hopefully , the Deathly Hallows will be better . Maybe it's good that the whole movie is split into 2 parts , but the interval between the 2 parts is way too long .

Oh well , as long the movie is good , i will stop my complaining of the quality of the show . LOL .

and by the way , the scene whereby arogog died really freak me out . Rahhhh , the spider really looks scary , disgusting etc etc .
