Movie Reviews - Breaking Dawn Part 2 + SIA inteview + Sick

Wednesday
Supposed to go for a casting at Clarke Quay but I wasn't feeling very well. Stupid gastric problems.


FROLICK! It has been a long time.

Met Felicia and we went for a casting for a job which my aunt recommended. I was kinda of pissed because the person who was supposed to interview us wasn't there after pushing the time back for 2 times. Zzzzz.

Felt damn unwell and ended up couldn't club. Accompanied Fel to butter then Bb came over to pick me.

Thursday
Woke up and still feeling sick.

In the afternoon, I went back home to take my things then head straight to Xinying's house. I was looking forward for the food which Auntie mummy cooked for me.

I really ate lots of things there and I managed to suppress the gastric juice from making my stomach churned.

Friday
Spent my afternoon uploading my photos, blog and wash my longchamp bag. 

I must say that it's not hard to wash, just that I accumulated the dirt for almost a year till it's hard to remove them. HAHA. 

After that, I waited for Bb to pick me up and we went to watch Breaking Dawn Part 2. 
Golden Village was damn crowded :/


Overall, I'll give a rating of 8 out of 10. Although some parts were missing as compared to the book, it's not so bad. I think the fighting parts were cool although it's a little gore.

After the movie, Bb and I went to Kallang for a soccer game. Of course, I was a spectator since I can't play for nuts. LOL.

While watching, I saw this from my sister's post in instagram.

I was playing game and watching from time to time. Ok lah, it wasn't that boring and quite interesting at times.

Yesterday
Woke up early in the morning to meet Fel. Together, we went to the SIA interview at Sheraton Hotel.

Due to my past experiences, we decided to go early and reach by 7. We reached at around 6:50am. By the time we were out from the ladies and proceed on to the queue, we were as early as group 2 (:


Group 2. 

First round's Question: What country will you want to live in and why?
I think this is a rather easy question but we really have to elaborate a little. Still, I think it's sort of by luck. 

Both Fel and I went through this stage.

2nd round: Height and Certificate check. 
Why bother going for interview if you can't pass your certificate check?

But this time, it's a little different for height check. They removed the lower line which was originally for the ladies to reach. It's really hard for them to get through the round if the ladies are only about 1.58m to 1.6m. 

3rd round: Skin check. 
I never like it as I failed it at the same place for the first interview.

Who knows, the same lady who passed me at suntec months ago, failed me this time round.

She said that my left shoulder is lower than my right shoulder and asked if I hold my bag using the left side.

I was like HELLO?! I used my right shoulder and how come I didn't know about this, especially during dance classes??!!

Worse, she said that I have oily skin when I actually have dry skin.
How can my face don't reflect the lights when 2 spotlights were shinning directly on my face??!!

My goodness. This is ridiculous. 

Fel went through the skin check and proceeded to the 1 to 1 interview.
Unfortunately, she didn't pass that round as she told me that she met this super GL (guai lan) guy who asked retarded questions.

What made my day worse was we saw one girl who went passed the 1 to 1 interview who has lots of RED patches, which were obviously serious acnes problem. 

I really don't know how they really pass the girls from the skin check. =.=

After the whole thing, Fel and I went to have breakfast before I went back home.

At night, I went to Funan IT mall with Bb to shop for his ipad for work usage. I saw the stationary shop which sell many cute stickers. I'm going there to shop real soon! *GRIN*

Today
Went for today's class and to know that it's that scary lady teaching.
I just got this fear upon looking at her, who reminds me of the CSTD grade 4 coaching class. 

If I know it's the coaching class, I wouldn't have come.

Today is just not my day; so many irritating stuff happened.

Went to see doctor for my gastric problems = Spent money for medicine. 


Medicines again :(

Monday
It's a long day for me; Give tuition, catwalk training and maybe still need to go back and teach tuition again.


Looks for the day. I know I looked damn blur.

During the tuition, I was damn pissed with my tutee's maths answer. I really don't know if the things are too hard for one to understand. SIGH~

Catwalk training was alright. At least the committee members said I improved from the previous time. I felt a little better.

After that, I joined the committee members for dinner and dessert. Eddie ate a big tub of beancurd. LOL.


This is like super big!

During the training, most of the girls got the Maxitone Sculptress. Something to increase the metabolism and to lose more weight. HAHA.

Tuesday
Woke up extremely early and went to True Fitness for Hot Yoga class. I saw Rebecca there so we went to the class together.

I must say the lady instructor was really fierce.

Had a chat with Rebecca before heading to the swimming complex for a swim.
But who knows the stupid complex is closed on a Tuesday till afternoon time. ARGHHH.

I ended up walking to Safra for a swim.
And the most unfortunate thing was that my 'best friend' visited at wrong time.

Oh well, I still can swim though.

After my swim, it was raining heavily. No choice but till wait till the rain stop before walking to the bus stop.

Around late afternoon, I dragged myself to my tutee's house to teach tuition or rather, supervising my tutee to do his work so that I can check. My migraine wasn't helping at all. Sigh~

After that, I rushed to True fitness and meet Felicia there for some workout. Supposed to do hot yoga but we were late.

Had dinner with Felicia before heading back home.

Wednesday
Met Xiao Qi and Rebecca to do hot yoga and have breakfast together.

After that, I went to Le Grand, wanting to buy another new pair of pointe shoe for future exam usage. Decided to get a Griskho Nova 2007.

It's really soft and I scared I'll break in really fast. Oh well, it's better than my hard shank ones. HAHA.
But I'm lazy to sew my pointe shoes. HOW??!!

Around late afternoon, I went to my tutee's house again.
YES I KNOW IT'S VERY IRRITATING BUT I'VE NO CHOICE !

I will never want anyone to fail their exams. It's my job to make sure that they do their best.

At night, I met Keith and we had dinner together at MOF before going to Harry's bar for a drink. We were like jumping from place to place. To starbucks then to McDonald's before heading back home.

It's a great night chatting with my brother (:

Thursday
Woke up early to drag myself out for a short photoshoot with my friend, Datson.
It has been 2 years since the last time I had a shoot with him.

Cabbed to T3. It's sooooo hard to get a cab yet got people with no integrity who wanted to snatch a cab. Hate such people. Zzzzzz. 凸(｀0´)凸

It was really a short shoot. After the shoot, we had our brunch and went separate ways.
I can't wait to see the photos ((:

At around evening time, Milly called and asked if I wanna join them for dinner and Kbox. Since I've got nothing to do, I went to Kallang Leisure Park to look for them .

After that, we went to have supper together.

It's really nice to spend time with the committee members. They brighten up my day (;

Friday
I think one day my tutee will drive me crazy. 

I really don't understand how hard can it be do finish an O level combined science practical. How can one couldn't finish it?

It's not A level chemistry SPA for goodness sake. 

I still remembered in JC time how jialat it was when I couldn't finish due to apparatus problem and some error. I think without all those problems, I probably could have finished the mock SPA back then.

At night, I dragged myself to work. Keith came over to look for me before we went to Pub Magician with his other colleague.

Nothing much. Just singing, drinking and chatting till it's time to go home.

Yesterday
Almost couldn't wake up for class. I was feeling sooooo tired till I went back home to sleep after my class has ended.

Migraine has been haunting me for days. Must be the stress all this.

At night, I waited for Keith to end work then I meet him to go to Pub Magician for a drink.

I was drinking and singing with Keith for the night. 2 person shared a tower of beer. It's my first time doing that. HAHA.

Something happened that night, JJ, Yang, Aaron, Alex and Peter came over to Pub Magician. I must say that I was dumbfounded. 

I know my reactions couldn't hide away from Keith. He even asked if I wanted to go to the other side.

After putting up a fake mask for the night, it got torn off and I cried. I felt bad because it has been a long time since my dad saw this side of me.

Either way, thanks for the people who were by my side when I needed them. 

In the end, JJ sent me back home that night.

Today
Dartslive league finals.

Had been thinking if I should go for the finals but decided to go due to some reasons.


Looks for the day. 

However, I didn't stay till my team played because I went off with JJ for dinner.

Blackberry event + Yuan Shan's 21st + Shopping

Saturday
Woke up early to make sure my luggage was packed. And apparently, the luggage was already spoil (without lock). No wonder why our luggage opened when we reached Taiwan.

No choice, we used tape to taped around the luggage, hoping that nothing will drop out.

Back from Taiwan at around 7:30pm. Kinda of miss the food, the shopping and night markets.

Here are some of the things which I bought from Wu Fen Pu, excluding the clothes. I bought about 1 dress, 4 shorts, 2 tops, 1 bag, 1 set of lingerie and bikini. LOL.

Had dinner with my family, JJ and Yang. We were famished since we couldn't eat in the plane (too ex :/)

Des and Steve came later. Initially, we wanted to go out to somewhere to chill and play darts. BUT JJ's car battery was flat.

It's quite strange because before we left for Taiwan, we ensured everything was OFF.

Oh well, just our luck. We ended up playing mahjong.


Finished sewing my pointe shoes! Forming the word LOVE with the ribbons. 

Sunday
Dead tired after the mahjong night.

Drag myself up for ballet class. Brought my work stuff out so that I can bathe at grandma's house before going to work.

Luckily, grandma was at home. If not, I don't have a place to wash up after my dance. 

Learned the simplified version of the Blue bird variation for ballet. It's like sooooo nice. Only if I can be many many times better, so that I can dance the steps which Choe Yuhui performed for Royal Ballet (on demi-pointe). LOL.

Work at Pasir Ris interchange for the Blackberry Roadshow with 8 other girls.

Monday
Slept till late afternoon.

JJ and I went to pick Wenxing and we went to Boon Yong's place for dinner before we went to Krugers for their match.

Nothing much. Just that I was pretty vexed because I couldn't hit my bulls.

Tuesday
Met Felicia for Sakae Lunch buffet, together with mummy and JJ.
Had a nice lunch and chat with Fel as usual. One of my best GFs to share things with (:

At night, I went to Senso for my league. Guess what?

I DIDN'T BRING MY WRISTLET OUT WHICH HAS MY CARDS INSIDE. YES, MY DARTSLIVE CARD!

Damn pissed with myself as I always bring it out with me.

No choice, I called my sisters to take a cab down to deliver to me. Luckily, I realised it half an hour before my league.

Against Ice, we lost 4-5. I played 2 701 doubles and the trios. I think I did pretty well, or at least at my own level. Oh well, it's a close one.

Thursday
Went to Pasir Ris to pick Yang and Xinying before we headed off to town for shopping. We had lunch then went to bugis street to source for Shan's birthday present.

Since it's shared among the BHH girlies, it's fine for the presents to be more expensive, especially when it's her 21st birthday.

Every year's July, I'll be very broke because my 3 girlies are July babies. LOL. POOR ME T.T

While shopping, I also bought some clothes for myself. I think I haven't shop enough in Taiwan. LOL.

After shopping and playing Jubeat in arcade for awhile, we went to have our STRUDELS!

After eating, Xinying went back while the rest of us went to Dartssoul, Illuzion then Krugers to play darts.

Today
Woke up in the afternoon and rushed to prepare for work. Meeting my AIA agent early for tea & lunch before my work at Jurong point. It's like super far!

Thanks to JJ who drove me to JP. If not, my butt will hurt like mad from taking from East to West. 

Work for Blackberry event with the girls again. Simple job as usual. LOL.

After work, I went to my dad's pub to find JJ, Yang and others. Chilled there before going back home.

Yesterday
Danced in the morning. I was sooooo tired as I slept late yesterday.

Lunched with the girls.
I was too tired to drag myself to the afternoon classes. Ended up going back home for a nap. Thanks JJ for sending Jas and I back home.

In the evening, I prepared to go to Xinying's house for Shan's birthday party. Since I'm staying at her house, I gotta throw all my dance and work stuff before going.

Stayed in the chalet till the crowd came. Since I only know Xinying (not mentioned those whom I'm not familiar with), I went to look for Miyo at So-yea to eat beancurd.

Today
Left Xinying's house early to meet Jas and Yanming for breakfast. Luckily, we got Yanming to drive us to the studio and save us some time from travelling. 

Danced and sweat a lot. Many things to remember. The thing I hate was that my ribbons for both pointe shoes are not tightly sewn. Sigh~

After dance, I got someone like a taxi driver drove me to work at JP, recommended by Jamie (:

I managed to reach there slightly early to change and put on makeup.

Nothing much, spent my time chatting with Yi Feng and Rachel. I really love to work with the girls. I had fun working for this event (:

TAIWAN - DAY 3

DAY 3
Uncle went back to the airport in the noon.

We decided to visit Taipei Zoo for the day!

Took train, changed till Mucha line (Brown) then we can go straight to Taipei Zoo. No hassle! Our travelling time should be between 30 minutes to 1 hour. Can't really remember.

The tickets to the zoo is really cheap, NT60 each (around SGD 3), which is much cheaper than to visit Singapore Zoo.

In addition, Taipei Zoo is the largest zoo in Asia (according to what the guide said when we were at Taipei 101).

Note to Travellers: Bring your hat & sunblock when heading there, especially during summer time. It's really warm while you walk around the place.

We walked for almost 4 hours for the whole place. It's really huge! Along the way, we bought many souvenirs. They have too many cute things there !

After that, we were deciding where to go. We wanted to go to Shifen (十分) to put the Sky lantern (孔明灯) but at that timing, we'll probably missed the train timing.

In the end, we went to Ximending instead.

Indeed, Ximending is one of the best places in Taiwan for teenages and young adults. They have soooooo many things there, including food !

We went straight to 小王子小公主童話美食茶坊 to drink tea. 2nd level, forget at which street. They have a very nice decoration there !

After that, we went to find the dance shop for me to buy my pointe shoes. It's not very far away. After trying quite a number of shoes with different sizes, I got one chacott and one repetto pointe shoes.

Too bad that they don't have freed pointe shoes anymore.

Their Chacott is really cheap as compared to what they sell in Singapore. It's about NT1800 (around SGD80). Singapore's price is around SGD 120. Huge difference !

Next, we went to Animate because my sisters wanna buy manga there. It's really cheap to buy in Taiwan since it's translated there.

Tired, I don't know how long have I been climbing up and down the stairs during my stay in Taiwan. Their subways are really unfriendly to the handicaps and the elderly.

Feeling bored. We went down and get more beers with weird flavours.

My new pointe shoes; Chacott and repetto.

Don't ask me why the 2 repetto soles are different. One with La Bayadere written and one with La Carlotta written. It's given to me by the shop assistant.

Picked up the courage and sent the wishes. I'm glad that I received replies. It has been such a long time and it has never gotten out of my mind. Nothing ever changes.
