I missed my morning lectures, and I just went to school for one lesson before heading off to take my uniform from Jojo babe .

Actually, I intended to drop by my grandma's house but they went out . So I went to central to buy something to eat and drink before heading to Tanah Merah Country Club for work .


and I tried bubble tea from KOI . Passion Green tea with aloe . It's abit costly but it's really nice as people have claimed !

It's a short day! I love it (:

I went back home to put down my things before going to work . But before that, I grabbed a bite at Tampines one .

Yesterday
I rushed to school as I woke up late ! I even forgot about my toothbrush which I was supposed to bring out everyday :(

and it's definitely not a good morning as I hate Process instrumentation's practical . It's just way too boring and I can never understand what the craps are the machines for .

After school, I rushed to work . My partner was Lovelyn babe (:

My job was alright for the day . And I am quite alright with going around coffee shops . Not as scary as I presumed.


Mummy's dog came to our house to stay for one night . Cute right ?

Today
I went to dear's house in the afternoon . I only go there for lunch before I headed back to Tampines for work .

Today's job is around Tampines area and I felt alright as it's places where I know . So it's not really an issue .

Regardless how well things may go, the night is a disaster.

1) Rubber on water pipe snapped without my sisters knowing and it flooded the whole house . All my things which I put on the floor are wet .

2) Report stress; Why is Environment Studies A report so hard to do ?!

3) How will you feel with both your boyfriend and ex-boyfriend appeared at the same time ? Details will not be elaborate, but I am just way too confused .

4) THE DAMN DOG SHITTED ON MY BED .

Bought something from Skin Food again xD

This afternoon , i met Candy at bedok before going to clarke quay for a photoshoot . It's for her blogshop . I will post up the photos once i get it from her .

The weather is not being very cooperative as it's way too hot for me . My makeup was melting when i stepped out of the shopping centre .

Funny was when we walked from clarke quay to somewhere near fullerton hotel . It's already near Raffles place lohhs . I can't stand walking under the sun .

I only change at the hotel once , and the rest at Victoria Concert Hall . If i changed all the time at the hotel , the staffs will be staring at me for sure . LOL .

Well , overall is quite fun . Though it took quite a long time .

After the whole thing , my sisters , dear and i went to town for dinner . We ate at Han's . The food is really yummy !

Then , we went to skin food to buy things . Innitially , i wanted to buy my mask but it's out of stock . Only the parkway branch has it :(

Nevermind , i shall save up and buy with xinying by end of this month . I am getting closer to accumulate receipts of spending $250 . Yayness !

Tomorrow is the last day of my 8 months holiday . Pretty fast huh ? It seems like yesterday that i left YJC . Really , way too fast .

I hope it's a good start for me , be it studies or making more friends .

Ok , i shall stop here . Got to start reading all my lecture notes before lesson start . Seems like i am back to my mugger mode .

Yesterday , i went to Xinying's house for slumber party !

Her mummy cooked super duper nice nonya curry chicken and bee hoon . It's so delicious . hehes .

I spent my time talking to xinying and her mummy . It's always very interesting to listen to their stories . hahas . Of course , i have been reading xinying's Japan magazines .

Esssh , the things in the magazines are so nice ....

Anyway , i slept very early . I was really tired . hahas .

This morning , Xinying and i went to whitesands for breakfast . YAYNESS ! McDonald's breakfast !

We ate our delicious meal and waited for dear to arrive . We went back to my house to put my things .

Oh ya , i cut dear's hair because he was lazy to go to visit a barber and block test is coming up on Monday . I should have taken a photo of his hair ~

Then , we went to bugis to shop around . I am very indecisive of what to buy . I wanted to buy some of the things and yet i keep on consider here and there .

We walked around bugis street and bugis junction . Of course , we went to eat strawberry strudels too . Yummy !

One thing i didn't regret was to buy my Ettusais Limited Edition Sweet Marble Cheek Colour ! It's soooo sweet and i love it ! and i got a $5 Fasio Voucher .

After that , we went to Takashimaya to get my things before going to Far east .

I was kind of frustrated that i couldn't find the idea makeup pouch for my things . It's either too small or not nice . Arghhhh , can't blame me for being so fussy .

We ate our dinner at Hans before taking a bus back home . Dear was soooo poor thing . He got to walk to the MRT station and take the train by his own . Sorry love xD

When i reached home , it's like 'WOW' after looking at all the things that i have bought .

Skin Food Review 1

Hello people ! This is my first review for products . It's a review on Skin food's skincare products .

These are the fews that i have tried in this month (:


Product name: Honey Black Tea Cleansing Milk
Size: 170ml
Price: $27.60

Instruction: Apply it evenly to your skin and massage softly until the make up dissolves. Wipe it away with tissue or wash it away using warm water.

Information: Light clean-feeling cleansing emulsion that helps to keep your skin moist and soft.

My rating: 9/10
Why: It has a very nice scent , honey and milk . I have a sensitive/dry skin , so the person actually recommended me Milk mania series . However , i don't really like the smell as the milky smell makes me puke .

This one is really different . Perhaps is the honey black tea that get rid most of the smell . After using it , it makes my skin soft and smooth . No irritation at all . The smell can last for very long .

This product does not really produce foam . However , it's good enough to remove my makeup cleansing oil . I have tried using just this to remove my makeup but it's not strong enough . Still , I never regret buying this product .

I will be trying the similar product but in different foam after i finished using this . Hopefully , it will be as good as the cleansing milk .

The product is suitable for all skin type , especially dry skin (:


Product name: Lettuce & Cucumber Toner
Size: 135ml
Price: $34.70

Instruction: Apply evenly after cleansing and gently press with palm to absorb.

Informtaion: A soft and fresh toner for moisturizing. Water rich lettuce and cucumber extracts provides moisture and vitamins, maintaining clean and clear skin.

My Rating: 10/10
Why: This product is really great . It has a nice smell , not very strong though . Very refreshing after used . It's also hydrate my skin . One of the best toner in Skin food , according to the Korea Website .

This product is suitable for all skin types .


Product Name: Snow Tea Eye Serum
Size: 20ml
Price: $30.50

Instruction: Apply directly around the eyes and desired area after lotion , leave on to absorb.

Informtaion: Snow tea is the sacred tea enjoyed by ancient Chinese emperors, believed to purify skin and soul. Specially designed to reduce dark circles, puffiness, and brighten the eye area. Its rich ingredients adds nutrition and moisture to the skin.

My rating: 9/10
Why: It has a pleasant smell , unlike the appricot one which xinying and i felt disgusted after smelling it . LOL . It really reduce my dark circles , not totally as i don't really have enough sleep .

Though this is a very small bottle , it can last you for very long . I bought this at mid December and it last till today , which i still have 3/4 of it left . This product is also a holy grail product in 2008 , check it at cozycot.com .

This product is suitable for all skin type .


Product name: Aloe Vera Foaming Cleanser
Size: 135ml
Price: $23

Instruction: Lather to foam. Gently massage on the face. Rinse it .

Information: For Oily to Combination Skin. Contains Aloe Vera and Cucumber for a remarkably soothing and hydrating experience for your skin. Aids skin in healing, also prevents acne and skin irritation.

My rating: 6/10
Why: Well , it's my mistake for getting a wrong one as it don't really suit my skin at all . It caused my cheeks to turn a little red and my skin feels tight after using it . Still , it's a popular product at Skin food .

It smells nice , something like eversoft cleanser . Too bad that i can't use it . It's very affordable .


Product name: Black Sesame Hot Mask
Size: 110ml
Price: $30.60

Instruction:
Cleanse face, apply appropriate amount of mask to your moist face and massage it smoothly and avoiding the eye area. Rinse it away with lukewarm water 3 - 5 minutes later.

Information:
Using natural ingredients of black sesame to provide a steam effect. Deeply cleanse pores for a clean, smooth and refresh feeling.

Rating: 9/10
Why: This product is really great . It leaves a smooth and soft skin after using . You can also feel and see the pores tightened after using it . There will be a hot feeling when you rubbed it against your skin .

Why 9/10 since i praised it so much ?

The answer is ...... THE SMELL . It has the sesame smell which i don't really like it . yucks , but still , it's good to use though i am only trying the sample .

This product is suitable for all skin type , except it varies for those with sensitive skin .


Product name: Rice Mask Wash Off
Size: 100ml
Price: $25.50

Instruction: Apply evenly after cleansing. Avoid eye and mouth area. Gently scrub and wash off with lukewarm water after 10 - 15 minutes.

Information: Exfoliating wash off scrub mask with minerals, vitamins and gamma oryzanol. Moisturizes and whitens the skin.

Rating: 10/10
Why: Same as the sesame one , it leaves the skin smooth and soft after using it . It doesn't really have a smell and it moisturizes the skin as well .

This is also a holy grail product in 2008 .

This product is suitable for all skin types .

(Saint) Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14 by many people throughout the world. In the West, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery. The day was originally a pagan festival that was renamed after two Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.

The day is most closely associated with the mutual exchange of love notes in the form of "valentines". Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten notes have largely given way to mass-produced greeting cards.[1] The sending of Valentines was a fashion in nineteenth-century Great Britain, and, in 1847, Esther Howland developed a successful business in her Worcester, Massachusetts home with hand-made Valentine cards based on British models. History of Valentine's Day .
Numerous early Christian martyrs were named Valentine. Until 1969, the Catholic Church formally recognized eleven Valentine's Days. The Valentines honored on February 14 are Valentine of Rome (Valentinus presb. m. Romae) and Valentine of Terni (Valentinus ep. Interamnensis m. Romae). Valentine of Rome was a priest in Rome who suffered martyrdom about AD 269 and was buried on the Via Flaminia. His relics are at the Church of Saint Praxed in Rome. and at Whitefriar Street Carmelite Church in Dublin, Ireland.

Valentine of Terni became bishop of Interamna (modern Terni) about AD 197 and is said to have been killed during the persecution of Emperor Aurelian. He is also buried on the Via Flaminia, but in a different location than Valentine of Rome. His relics are at the Basilica of Saint Valentine in Terni (Basilica di San Valentino).

The Catholic Encyclopedia also speaks of a third saint named Valentine who was mentioned in early martyrologies under date of February 14. He was martyred in Africa with a number of companions, but nothing more is known about him.

No romantic elements are present in the original early medieval biographies of either of these martyrs. By the time a Saint Valentine became linked to romance in the fourteenth century, distinctions between Valentine of Rome and Valentine of Terni were utterly lost.

In the 1969 revision of the Roman Catholic Calendar of Saints, the feastday of Saint Valentine on February 14 was removed from the General Roman Calendar and relegated to particular (local or even national) calendars for the following reason: "Though the memorial of Saint Valentine is ancient, it is left to particular calendars, since, apart from his name, nothing is known of Saint Valentine except that he was buried on the Via Flaminia on February 14." The feast day is still celebrated in Balzan (Malta) where relics of the saint are claimed to be found, and also throughout the world by Traditionalist Catholics who follow the older, pre-Vatican II calendar.

The Early Medieval acta of either Saint Valentine were excerpted by Bede and briefly expounded in Legenda Aurea. According to that version, St Valentine was persecuted as a Christian and interrogated by Roman Emperor Claudius II in person. Claudius was impressed by Valentine and had a discussion with him, attempting to get him to convert to Roman paganism in order to save his life. Valentine refused and tried to convert Claudius to Christianity instead. Because of this, he was executed. Before his execution, he is reported to have performed a miracle by healing the blind daughter of his jailer.

Legenda Aurea still providing no connections whatsoever with sentimental love, appropriate lore has been embroidered in modern times to portray Valentine as a priest who refused an unattested law attributed to Roman Emperor Claudius II, allegedly ordering that young men remain single. The Emperor supposedly did this to grow his army, believing that married men did not make for good soldiers. The priest Valentine, however, secretly performed marriage ceremonies for young men. When Claudius found out about this, he had Valentine arrested and thrown in jail. In an embellishment to The Golden Legend, on the evening before Valentine was to be executed, he wrote the first "valentine" himself, addressed to a young girl variously identified as his beloved, as the jailer's daughter whom he had befriended and healed, or both. Of course , i am sure many people heard of White Valentine's Day . But does anyone heard of Black Valentine's day ?

White Valentine's Day

White Day (ホワイトデー, Howaito dē?, a Japanese wasei-eigo) is a holiday celebrated on March 14, one month after Valentine's Day. In Japan this day is a widespread holiday, much like Valentine's Day.

White Day in Japan
In Japan, Valentine's Day is observed by females who present chocolate gifts (either store-bought or handmade), usually to a male, as an expression of love. The handmade chocolate is usually preferred by the receiver, because it is a sign that the receiving male is the girl's "only one". On White Day, the converse happens: males who received a "honmei-choco" [chocolate of love] or "Giri-choco" [chocolate of courtesy] on Valentine's Day are expected to return the favor by giving gifts, usually more expensive. Traditionally, popular White Day gifts are cookies, undies, white chocolate, marshmallows as well as jewelry, lingerie, and stuffed animals. Sometimes the term sanbai gaeshi (literally, "thrice the return") is used to describe the generally recited rule that the return gift should be two to three times the cost of the Valentine's gift.

Origin
White Day was first celebrated in 1978 in Japan. It was started by the National Confectionery Industry Association (全国飴菓子工業協同組合) as an "answer day" to Valentine's Day on the grounds that men should pay back the women who gave them chocolate and other gifts on Valentine's Day. In 1977 a Fukuoka-shi confectionery company, Ishimura Manseido (石村萬盛堂), had marketed marshmallows to men on March 14, calling it Marshmallow Day (マシュマロデー).

Soon thereafter, confectionery companies began marketing white chocolate. Now, men give both white and dark chocolate, as well as other edible and non-edible gifts, such as jewelry or objects of sentimental value, or white clothing like lingerie, to women from whom they received chocolate on Valentine's Day one month earlier. If the chocolate given to him was giri choco, the man as well may not be expressing actual romantic interest, but rather a social obligation.

and what about Black Valentine's Day ?

Black Day (April 14) is a South Korean informal tradition for single people (a.k.a. Unit Solo/Solo Regiment, lee: 솔로부대) to get together and eat Jajangmyeon (noodles with black bean sauce), sometimes a white sauce is mixed for those who did not celebrate White Day.

The idea is that those who did not give or receive gifts on Valentine's Day or White Day can get together and eat Jjajangmyeon (짜장면), white Korean noodles with black bean sauce (hence the name), to commiserate their singledom.

Interesting , right ? I didn't know about the black day till my sisters told me about it . Apparently , they decided to celebrate it among themselves . LOL .

Ok , back to the usuals .

Wednesday and Thursday
Working days . Those 2 days weren't pleasant as something got to do with the team manager .

I think i have done my part by reaching very early , trying to go to terminal 1 to collect my ingredients . There is nothing i can do if the stocks don't come and if the ingredients that i took out from the fridge had spoiled .

Putting mint leaves and lime in the fridge will hasten the decomposing rate as they are not use straight away after taking them out . The changing of temperature cause them to spoil easier than not putting inside the fridge .

Whatever , i have already told my vendor about this . So if they ever receive any complaint letter about me , it's not my problem anymore . I have done my part .

And , the manager picked on Jenmey and I for talking in groups . For goodness sake , my booth is always very isolated . She can walk near me because Jack Daniel's shelf is very near me .

The Henessey promoter walked all over the shop but yet she didn't get any trouble . It's not that i don't like her , i just feel that it's unfair for us .

If is not the sales assistant told us that the manager is somehow spying us , i don't think we will ever know .

Moreover , the chivas girl talks alot more lahhs . She also walk around the place and talk in groups . Yes , she does work but the amount of input for work = the time used for talking .

Whatever . By the way , the Jack Daniel promoter , Shawn , was groped by one Indian man while serving them . Poor thing .

Friday
Though it's my off day , i don't really get to rest . I woke up and prepared to go for my interview for Mark Chow modelling agency . It's at Ang Mo Kio . Thank goodness that i got a straight bus there .

However , i alighted 2 stops earlier . In the end , i got to walk there under the hot sun . Arghhhh .
Anyway , the interview is alright . Nothing much .

After that , i rushed to AMK hub to buy Valentine's day presents for dear . I really can't think of what to buy . Throughout last year , i have bought him shirts for presents .

Men's present are so hard to buy . They have too limited stuffs for us to choose .

In the end , i decided to buy some skin care products for him . It's not that he has bad skin . But he has to take care before he will not have much time to take care in the army . I bought toner and emulsion since he already have scrub and cleanser .

I think it will take less than 2 months to be Skin Food's VIP member . I have spent around $150++ within this month . Still got $100 to go , which i am going to buy some products after i get my pay (:

After that , i rushed to Defu lane for a MCYS casting . I think it took less than 20 minutes . All i need to do is filled up the form , take a few photos and take a video to introduce ourselves .

Luckily the place isn't very far from AMK , so that i can rush back and take train back to Yishun to meet dear .

I went to bank and deposit the money before going to kahtib central's Mcdonald's to wait for dear . I had my first meal of the day at 4pm ++ . Too busy to eat .

We stayed there till about 7 plus . I was helping him with maths questions . Too bad that i forgot to bring my stuffs for revision .

We went home afterwards and have our dinner . We waited till 12mn to open our presents (:

Today
We missed our breakfast as i overslept . LOL .

Oh , i forgot to mention that my presents are pooh bear in piglet outfit + ear muff and a rose . He even bought the shoelace with exact colour that i bought back on the first day we have met .

That's so sweet of him ((:

After preparing , we went to a nearby coffee shop for lunch before taking the express bus to orchard .

Orchard road was full of people . Many people were selling flowers and many girls were carrying bouquet or stalks of flowers , be it single or couple . Love is in the air .

We went to cineleisure to buy our movie ticket . Many shows were fully booked . Initially , we wanted to watch The Curious Case of Benjamin Button . Unfortunately , 2 timings were sold out .

So in the end , we watched Slumdog Millionaire . Before watching , we went to Takashimaya to buy some tibits and sushi . Oh ya , the first Sephora open at Ngee Ann City .

Seriously , i am falling in love with the products of Too Faced and Benefit Cosmetics products . Ahhh , going to spend money again . hahas . All girls should visit the shop . I am trying to buy benefit things from DFS (:

We rushed quickly back to the cinema and watched the show .

I give a rating of 8.5 out of 10 . Reason being it jumped scenes way too fast . This show is really interesting . This guy actually become a millionaire after winning 20 Million from Who wants to be a millionaire .

He got all answers except the last 2 questions , through his real life experience . He happened to know who is the man on the 100USD note but don't know about the man on 100rupee note .

It's quite a good show , funny and interesting which is worth watching .

After movie , we went to hereen and then walked to Plaza Singapura . On our way , we saw this street Artist who draw portraits till looks very real .

The picture which i have posted above , is the portrait of Obama , which i think he drew it from looking at his picture .

I saw him drawing this couple . It's very real . The eyes are filled with expression and even indicate where the light shine from . Really very impressive . He draws using charcoal pen and pencil .

The service is for black and white , it costs $20 and for colour ones , it costs $30 . Lamination costs $10 . It's quite worth it . The portrait is really big .

Dear and i wanted to have a try but we decided to try on other days since we didn't bring enough cash and have to eat dinner .

Then , we went to Secret Recipe for dinner . Actually , we just wanna have cheesecake . But it wasn't nice to eat just cheesecake since many people were queueing up for seats . So we ate our dinner there .

We ate till very full . The meals costs $50 . Thanks love for the nice dinner (:

After dinner , we went to buy something before heading back to somerset , trying to see if the artist still there . Unfortunately , he seemed to be not around though the materials were still there .

We went to centrepoint to buy marshmellow for my sisters . When we about to leave , there was a woman in her 40s or 50s , approached us . She asked us to help her change the receipts to vouchers for her since one person only can change once .

Seriously , i wonder how she get so many receipts with spending so much money . She was alone , so i don't think she can eat so many things that total up to $100++ by herself .

I think she probably picked up from the floor .

So , we just do her a favour . Apparently , she also asked other people to change for her . After we gave her the voucher , she just took it and go without saying "Thank you" .

Geee , whatever .

After that , we went back home straight as it was pretty late .

Tomorrow , i will be going to dear's house . Yawnn.... i am so tired . This seems to be the longest post i ever posted throughout the years .

I enjoy my day , thanks to dear . He fulfiled his promise that he is going to celebrate this year's Valentine's day with me . I remembered that was when i know him for the 2nd or 3rd day .
