Monday
School started late, which means first lesson was practical . (warning, rants below)

I can't imagine just because we didn't go for one tutorial , that BBQ pork threatened to bar us from MST . He said that our attendance is very bad .

Since when we skipped many classes ?

To bar someone from exams, the overall attendance must be lower than 75% . We attend Kwok's lectures and tutorials . So what gives him the reason to do so ?

It's preposterous . Arghhhh .

Tuesday
School hours - 10am to 12nn .

Still , I skipped 1 hour lesson as I was too tired . I went to school for material science lecture as I don't want to miss too much lesson .

After school , I met Casabelle to go for an interview . She's really a nice person to chat with (:

I was suffering as I couldn't eat anything with the damn rubber separators . It hurts to eat with them in your mouth .

Yesterday
I went to school for practical . It ended early so I went back home to rest before heading out to meet Amelia (:

We met at City Hall as she lent me her boots . Thanks babe (:

After that, we went to suntec to walk around, have a drink before going off .

I went down to Novena Square for my job briefing . Many babes were there . The whole thing lasted for about 2 hours , which was considered long .

Today
I was damn hungry for the day . I ended up eating McDonald's breakfast .

See how powerful these separators are ? I lost 2kg within a week just because of those 8 rubber bands .


My only meal of the day :(

For the whole afternoon, I was in dilemma to see if I should skip OCRM lecture as my appointment to put the wires was at 5pm .

After thinking hard, I decided to skip since the tutorial session will drag very long . However, I couldn't contact mummy to transfer the money to me . So I ended up attending the lesson .

After my class has ended, I rushed to City Hall for my appointment . I was late for 45 minutes . Luckily , I still can proceed on with my appointment .

Putting the wires was tedious . I hate the testing of the metal separators because it hurts like shit . Terrible feeling, especially the top right tooth . Fucking pain :(

Anyway, it was done within 20 minutes .

That's what I like about male doctors/dentists; They do things without hesitation .

After that, I went to orchard for shiseido's sales . There were many people there so I couldn't have a good look at the products .

The things were really cheap ! Shiseido Maquillage liquid foundation was sold at $15. Original price is $70 . Too bad that they only have the lightest shade :(

Majolica Majorca foundation and Ettusais soap bar for my sister; Original price: $30 and $20 respectively. Guess how much I bought them for ?

$8 and $6 respectively !

The day protection powder, I bought it at $25 . It's sold $64 originally .

The things there were cheap , but really no point to buy too many of them as we only have 1 face each .

After shopping at the sales, I went to Takashimaya to buy dinner back home before going to Wisma's Isetan to buy my moisturizing mist from Paul & Joe .

Initially, I wanted to buy the one with the 40% offer but it's OOS . So I bought the new version one at $35 .


I love the simple packaging (:


Oh ya , I bought a pair of protective glasses for my practical class . HAHA .

Ok , back to the usual .


Taken last Tuesday , after helping Joey Laopo with her makeup xD

Saturday
I couldn't sleep well for the night as I was quite nervous/afraid of extraction .

I even dreamt of myself dropping 5 teeth and require tooth implant to put my braces . It's really an unpleasant dream .

Dear came to my house in the morning to accompany me for extraction . We went to Far East Plaza for breakfast .

and guess what ?
I mistook Far East Plaza for the place where my dental clinic was located . It supposed to be at Lucky Plaza .

We quickly walked to Lucky Plaza as I was late for my appointment .

Dear accompanied me into the room where I went through the whole process . Both of us were equally scared . LOL .

The dentist told me that he will do filling first . He applied this disgusting 'miranda strawberry' alike flavour thingy on my gums .

After asking me to rinse my mouth , he took out this big and long silver syringe . Seriously , you will never want to see how it's like .

As I have needle phobia and I wasn't prepare for the injections , I pushed the dentist's hand and turned aside .

Embarrassed to say , I cried for about nearly 5 minutes before calming down to start the injections . The dentist assured me that it will not be painful .

Just as he promised , it's not painful except for the inner gum injections . Just to numb my gums for extraction , I endured 12 times or more injections .

For the extraction , dear described the tool used as something like the vernier caliper & F clamp . I didn't really notice it . LOL .

Though I couldn't feel the pain , I can feel the pressure applied to pull out the teeth . The dentist really applied lots of force !

After the whole thing , my gums bleed . So I got to bite the gauze to stop the bleeding . I think the bleeding lasted for about 2 hours plus ? LOL .

Imagine walking halfway and the blood dripped down from your mouth . It's scary .

By the time everything has ended , Dear became 'jelly' and lost all his appetite . He begins to fear about the wisdom tooth extraction .

Oh well , if it's wisdom tooth , I will definitely request for GA to let me fall asleep . I don't want the feel the fear .

After extraction , I went around shopping with my face mask . People look at me as if I got some terminal diseases . It's like for goodness sake , wear mask very strange mehhs ? =.=

I got dear's help for buying my foundation . Since I couldn't talk properly , he tried to help me to ask the sales girl some questions . LOL .

We went back home after buying things as we have wedding dinner to attend at night .

After we reached home , we rested for awhile before preparing to go out .

During evening , we went back to dear's house. Many relatives were at his house .

The wedding dinner was held at Orchid Country Club . It was dear's cousin's wedding .

The place is really nice and grand , different ambiance from the section where I always follow mummy for golf .

Not to mention , many people attended the wedding . Just by dear's relatives , it's considered many of them . Big family xD

No photos for the wedding as I was too lazy to take it out from my bag . LOL .

The whole dinner was nice . They even hired a singer (not those celebrities) to sing for the night.

After the dinner , I went back to dear's house before taking a cab home (:

Sunday
I missed my bus again ! Not to mention that I was a little late for my ballet class .

It spoiled my mood for the day . Stupid chores . Think about it really made my blood boil .

Ballet class was alright , except that it's a little tiring with the sautes . I think I am a little better at doing battement fondu ((:

However , I suck at doing Releve and Rond de jambe with my left leg . I just couldn't get the turn out right :(

Ok , new things that I have learnt at ballet class:

Changement de pied - Literally "changing of feet". A jump in which the feet change positions in the air.

For example, beginning in fifth position with the right foot front, plié and jump, switching the right to the back, landing with the left foot front in fifth position.

In the Vaganova's method, petit changement de pieds indicates a changement where the feet barely leave the floor.

After class , I went to dear's house and at night we went to Queensway for dinner together .

The extraction really gives me a hard time to eat , including those soft food . Just like the porridge below:


I can't even bite the damn 油条. It really hurts to bite it .

Sighh~ I think it will be worse after putting separators and braces on .

Yesterday
It's a long day and I really hate it . The timetable for Monday is way too packed .

I was in a bad mood for the whole day . Monday blue ~

Today

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NALA ((:

I skipped 2 lectures as I was too tired . I went to school at around 1pm .

OCRM lecture was damn boring . I really hate the rate of reaction chapter - culprit of failing me at my block test back in 2008 .

It's really a killer to me , regardless how easy the questions may be phrased in polytechnics.

School ended early today as 2 tutorials are either cancelled or postpone . I waited for dear in school till he booked out .

We went to Jurong Point's Din Tai Fung for dinner .


To me , the food isn't as nice as Crystal jade . It doesn't really worth the money .

After dinner , we walked around the place for yogurt .


and finally , we got our peach yogurt with peach topping (:

We went back home/camp after eating it .

Tomorrow , it's a short day for us as we only have practical . We will be going for buffet or something to celebrate Nala's birthday .

At night , I will be going for Majolica Majorca's Chapter 26 workshop . I will blog about it soon ((:

Monday
I didn't go to school for the whole day except during practical as I was on MC .

I was feeling quite weak but still got to drag myself to school . Skipping practical is a bad idea as they will either let you retake or take the average mark.

Both options suck . LOL .

Sick and I went back for practical . Supposed to be something good but the stupid BBQ pork spoiled it all .

The BBQ pork chased people out of class just because they opened the wrong cabinet and sitting at the wrong bench .

Yes , the one sitting at the wrong bench was my group .

He accused us for not listening to his damn briefing .

Seriously , his damn briefing was 80% crap . Almost all talking about how good he was and how he was going to break people's body part .

When he didn't leak the sulphuric acid while pouring, he said because he is good .

When he couldn't pipette the solution accurately in one go , he blamed the gloves for being too small .

He said that he wanted us to do things with a fearless attitude . But think about this:
- How the hell are you going to be fearless when you are dealing with 98% concentrated sulphuric acid ?

Just a missed cue and you will burn yourself badly .

He even added that we can't shiver when we pour . It's like we can't help it right ? Even professional makes mistake , not to be mentioned that we are just students .

He kept on saying that he will tell the person off if they did the wrong things , regardless who they are .

If he was so good , why don't go to Harvard or Oxford University to be a professor ? Why come to a polytechnic to be a pathetic lecturer ?

Whatever ok . As long your marks don't anyhow give .

After practical , I went back home to rest . I bought my lunch as I had to eat my medicine .

I went to Watson to buy the Majolica Majorca's limited edition foundation casing . It's metalic black in colour . I love it to max !

My sister asked me to buy for her too ! hehes .

It costs about $12.90 . Go grab it before it's gone !

Wednesday
It was a short day for me . Just practical (:

After class has ended , we went to pizza hut to have our lunch . My soup was half filled :(
I still prefer those outlet that let you fill up the bowl by yourself .


Edmund's hair looked like Elvis Presley (about 20%, the way it stood up) after taking out the hairband . LOL

I went to do my report with my group members and of course , settled my busary stuffs . So many things to photocopy and print out .

Worst , no Java in school's desktops . Because of that , I couldn't log in using singpass . I couldn't download the program either .

After school , I went back home alone . I didn't join Lyn they all for the movie as I don't watch Iron man 2 .

Both Iron man 2 and IP man 2 are movies that I don't watch . Silly as it seems , but they aren't the genres that I like .

Of course , I pampered myself with dessert !

Yesterday
The practical was horrendous !

Why ?
Because my practical required us to draw ! Something which I can't do . I suck at it totally .

Worst of all , it's for the formal report . It added the stress . I even teared in the practical . I just can't draw for nuts !


Look at this ! you got to draw this crap almost exactly ! How to draw sia ?

Still , Thanks to the people who lend me a hand when I couldn't finish drawing certain parts . I appreciate it (:

During the break time , I went to settle the bursary thing . It's like getting something off my chest .

Today
The day is considered short for me - 2 lectures , 1 tutorial , GEMS and consultation .

Lectures are boring , but I did listened to all attentively (:

After lectures , we went to Foodcourt 5 to have our breakfast . I even took a nap as I was way too sleepy due to the drowsy effect from the cough tablets that I took yesterday .

We were late for our tutorial for about 20 minutes . Somehow , we just left the place late . LOL .

GEMS was boring , except for listening to the classical music . I love the piece 'The four season' . The music is really nice .

After GEMS , I went to consult Gilbert Tan for material science .

I am very bad with drawing and dealing anything that got to do with 3D visualization .

Apparently , there are 2 modules that required 3D visualization . No choice , I got to work double hard for the modules .

After consultation , I went straight home . Initially , I wanted to wait for dear to book out and we go out for shopping . But it's abit late and dear suggested we go out tomorrow .

Abit upset that I can't buy my thing , but I treat myself with yogurt ice cream (:

Yesterday , i went to Xinying's house for slumber party !

Her mummy cooked super duper nice nonya curry chicken and bee hoon . It's so delicious . hehes .

I spent my time talking to xinying and her mummy . It's always very interesting to listen to their stories . hahas . Of course , i have been reading xinying's Japan magazines .

Esssh , the things in the magazines are so nice ....

Anyway , i slept very early . I was really tired . hahas .

This morning , Xinying and i went to whitesands for breakfast . YAYNESS ! McDonald's breakfast !

We ate our delicious meal and waited for dear to arrive . We went back to my house to put my things .

Oh ya , i cut dear's hair because he was lazy to go to visit a barber and block test is coming up on Monday . I should have taken a photo of his hair ~

Then , we went to bugis to shop around . I am very indecisive of what to buy . I wanted to buy some of the things and yet i keep on consider here and there .

We walked around bugis street and bugis junction . Of course , we went to eat strawberry strudels too . Yummy !

One thing i didn't regret was to buy my Ettusais Limited Edition Sweet Marble Cheek Colour ! It's soooo sweet and i love it ! and i got a $5 Fasio Voucher .

After that , we went to Takashimaya to get my things before going to Far east .

I was kind of frustrated that i couldn't find the idea makeup pouch for my things . It's either too small or not nice . Arghhhh , can't blame me for being so fussy .

We ate our dinner at Hans before taking a bus back home . Dear was soooo poor thing . He got to walk to the MRT station and take the train by his own . Sorry love xD

When i reached home , it's like 'WOW' after looking at all the things that i have bought .

Foundation (makeup) Dilemma

Hello people ! Now , i really need your guys' help . I can't decide which foundation should i buy . Kind of troublesome of people like me who loves to try new things and is a sucker for packaging . LOL .

Since Shiseido Maquillage is not available in Singapore , I am stucked between Ettusais , Anna Sui , Majolica Majorca and Paul and Joe . These are the few Asian brands which i have chosen .

Just in case some people don't know , Anna Sui products are made in Japan .

All the prices are around the same , so no point asking me to buy the cheapest or anything . xD


Ettusais . Popular for people with oily skin or dry skin (different ingredients for both) . A holy grail product in 2008 . Refer to http://www.cozycot.com


Majolica Majorca . I am not really a fan of the colour gold , but the casing still look nice .


Paul and Joe . I really like the casing with pink colour . Maquillage will be better but too bad , the base makeup it's not available in Singapore ...

Anna Sui . The casing of this brands are very nice and classic .

So girls , which one will you choose if you were me ? and do tell me the reviews if you know or have used any of them . You can also suggest another foundation , but must be ASIAN BRAND .
