Lunch/Shopping with Ashley + Atiqah's Birthday + Rants

Saturday
Didn't sleep well and I gotta wake up for work.

A bad feeling for work;
AND INDEED BAD, I spilled a bottle of tiger on myself (All thanks to the bottle holder).

However, everything was alright and I have free dinner to eat too!

After work, it's Mahjong time!
But I rested early as I was really tired.

Sunday
Tired. Bad mood. Muscle aches. Monthly friend.
= A bad combination.

I hate it when I didn't get to watch my movie due to a last minute plan.

It pissed me even more because the staff at the Cheesecake Cafe chose to ask the existing customers if they want the remaining cakes instead of asking the ones standing in front of the counter.

And after they took it, they tell the man that there's no more cake!
Bad service.

Monday
Met Ashley for lunch at town area.
We ate at TCC (:

Regretted ordering that much as we couldn't finish them.
Stayed there till the rain stopped.

Massive shopping time~
Ran out of too many things at the same time!

Stayed at home and read for the day till dinner time.

Had dinner at Men Men Don Don.
Cheaper Alternative for Japanese food.

Was feeling quite tired for the whole day but I was dragged out for Atiqah's birthday celebration at Kbox Cineleisure.

It's rather last minute. 

Either way, it's good to see Atiqah, Keith, Edmund and Faiz. 
It has been a long time.


*Blowing whistle* Faiz helped Atiqah to wear her new necklace. 

Didn't stay for long as I wasn't feeling very well.

Today
Gastric, don't feel well for the day.

Stayed at home and rest as much as I can.
Prepared for work in the evening.

Monday
School started late, which means first lesson was practical . (warning, rants below)

I can't imagine just because we didn't go for one tutorial , that BBQ pork threatened to bar us from MST . He said that our attendance is very bad .

Since when we skipped many classes ?

To bar someone from exams, the overall attendance must be lower than 75% . We attend Kwok's lectures and tutorials . So what gives him the reason to do so ?

It's preposterous . Arghhhh .

Tuesday
School hours - 10am to 12nn .

Still , I skipped 1 hour lesson as I was too tired . I went to school for material science lecture as I don't want to miss too much lesson .

After school , I met Casabelle to go for an interview . She's really a nice person to chat with (:

I was suffering as I couldn't eat anything with the damn rubber separators . It hurts to eat with them in your mouth .

Yesterday
I went to school for practical . It ended early so I went back home to rest before heading out to meet Amelia (:

We met at City Hall as she lent me her boots . Thanks babe (:

After that, we went to suntec to walk around, have a drink before going off .

I went down to Novena Square for my job briefing . Many babes were there . The whole thing lasted for about 2 hours , which was considered long .

Today
I was damn hungry for the day . I ended up eating McDonald's breakfast .

See how powerful these separators are ? I lost 2kg within a week just because of those 8 rubber bands .


My only meal of the day :(

For the whole afternoon, I was in dilemma to see if I should skip OCRM lecture as my appointment to put the wires was at 5pm .

After thinking hard, I decided to skip since the tutorial session will drag very long . However, I couldn't contact mummy to transfer the money to me . So I ended up attending the lesson .

After my class has ended, I rushed to City Hall for my appointment . I was late for 45 minutes . Luckily , I still can proceed on with my appointment .

Putting the wires was tedious . I hate the testing of the metal separators because it hurts like shit . Terrible feeling, especially the top right tooth . Fucking pain :(

Anyway, it was done within 20 minutes .

That's what I like about male doctors/dentists; They do things without hesitation .

After that, I went to orchard for shiseido's sales . There were many people there so I couldn't have a good look at the products .

The things were really cheap ! Shiseido Maquillage liquid foundation was sold at $15. Original price is $70 . Too bad that they only have the lightest shade :(

Majolica Majorca foundation and Ettusais soap bar for my sister; Original price: $30 and $20 respectively. Guess how much I bought them for ?

$8 and $6 respectively !

The day protection powder, I bought it at $25 . It's sold $64 originally .

The things there were cheap , but really no point to buy too many of them as we only have 1 face each .

After shopping at the sales, I went to Takashimaya to buy dinner back home before going to Wisma's Isetan to buy my moisturizing mist from Paul & Joe .

Initially, I wanted to buy the one with the 40% offer but it's OOS . So I bought the new version one at $35 .

Oh ya , I bought a pair of protective glasses for my practical class . HAHA .

I went to town with dear to meet Lyn for the Ettusais Birthday Party . I was late for about 40 minutes . Sorry 女儿 !

We went to MOS burger to have our lunch then proceeded to Isetan for the party . There were sweet treats there and we learned different style of makeup etc .

I bought my eye essence and lip essence ! Supposed to have 8 stamps but since it's my birthday , I got DOUBLE ! My initial very empty card with just 4 stamps are now fully STAMPED !

I got a sample makeup base and a bag for the purchase . At the same time, I won a lip essence in sitck form . Anyway , the chances of winning is 25% . LOL . Since I just bought the tube one , I gave it to Lyn xD

After the party , we went to TANGS shiseido for getting the samples for white lucent (though I have it already) . We even got to see how much our skin are damaged by the UV ray .

The 3 of us tried and ours belong to the middle range , but it's not ideal for people of our age . We (except for dear) got panick because those age spots may appear in mid 20s .

Now , I am so tempted to buy the white lucent series . LOL .

I gave Lyn the 3 basic skincare of White lucent series since I have it already and I took the spots targeting serum for myself . Hopefully there is a slight result from it xD

After going to TANGS , Lyn met her friend and went on to shopping while dear and I went to Lucky Plaza to buy the perfume for mummy .

We bought F for Fascinating Salvatore Ferragamo Perfume for mummy . The one selling at counter with normal packing and the cap is S$119 for 90ml .

Here , I bought it at S$45 without cap and in tester packaging . It's cheaper for sure . If the stupid boss can remember me ,I can even get staff discount .

After buying , we went to grandma's house straight . We bought food with my sisters and had our dinner there before going home .

Sunday
In the morning , I helped my sisters with the makeup for their job before meeting dear for lunch at Yishun .

We went to Isshi Mura for our lunch . The food is very delicious !

For the whole afternoon , I have been stoning at the living room ; watching TV . After that , we went to take an afternoon nap till 7+ pm .

We went to Chomp Chomp for dinner . The place was very packed and many people were looking for seats . Dear and I was waiting for one table as they were finishing soon .

As they finished , guess what they say after we waited for DAMN LONG ?

"Sorry , we will be waiting for our friends to join us here. "

It was a waste of our time . We stared at them for this ridiculous reason .

Anyway , we managed to find a seat and we ordered many food . The most scary one should be the sugar cane juice . Dear , Brandon and I ordered the 'giant' one . LOL .

After that , I went back to dear's house to take my things before going home .

Yesterday
I love yesterday because my bag was very light ! No labcoat , no shoes and laptop ! What a nice combination of classes not to have for Monday (:

I reached school at about 2pm and went for my lessons . In addition , I didn't fall asleep in my class because I had enough sleep for the last night .

After school , I went home straight . Mummy was surprised because I seldom come home soooo early . hahas .

We went to fetch uncle from then went to suntec for dinner . Imagine I was wearing a shirt , FBT and a pair of slippers walking into the restaurant . LOL . It's damn classic can .

The food there was quite nice but a little to oily for our liking .

Today
I was almost late for my practical because I woke up slightly later than usual .

It's our last Microbiology practical and we have lots of things to do there . It's fun though , because no E.coli is involved !

School ended relatively early as there wasn't any IDEAS this afternoon . I skipped my Japanese class as I was a little tired . At the same time , I forgot about collecting my present from xinying . LOL .

Anyway , I went to City hall to meet dear . We shopped at Marina Square , mainly to find the shop Club Marc . However , it's closed down for not paying rent .

Dear was quite upset as he regretted not buying the jacket when he saw it about 1 week ago . But now , he is fantasizing the Zara Jacket .

After that , we went to New York restaurant to grab a bite . Initially , I just wanted to order the root beer float . But we ended up eating things as dinner . LOL .

We went to Bugis to buy my magazine and mascara before going back home to take a nap .

Yesterday , i went to Xinying's house for slumber party !

Her mummy cooked super duper nice nonya curry chicken and bee hoon . It's so delicious . hehes .

I spent my time talking to xinying and her mummy . It's always very interesting to listen to their stories . hahas . Of course , i have been reading xinying's Japan magazines .

Esssh , the things in the magazines are so nice ....

Anyway , i slept very early . I was really tired . hahas .

This morning , Xinying and i went to whitesands for breakfast . YAYNESS ! McDonald's breakfast !

We ate our delicious meal and waited for dear to arrive . We went back to my house to put my things .

Oh ya , i cut dear's hair because he was lazy to go to visit a barber and block test is coming up on Monday . I should have taken a photo of his hair ~

Then , we went to bugis to shop around . I am very indecisive of what to buy . I wanted to buy some of the things and yet i keep on consider here and there .

We walked around bugis street and bugis junction . Of course , we went to eat strawberry strudels too . Yummy !

One thing i didn't regret was to buy my Ettusais Limited Edition Sweet Marble Cheek Colour ! It's soooo sweet and i love it ! and i got a $5 Fasio Voucher .

After that , we went to Takashimaya to get my things before going to Far east .

I was kind of frustrated that i couldn't find the idea makeup pouch for my things . It's either too small or not nice . Arghhhh , can't blame me for being so fussy .

We ate our dinner at Hans before taking a bus back home . Dear was soooo poor thing . He got to walk to the MRT station and take the train by his own . Sorry love xD

When i reached home , it's like 'WOW' after looking at all the things that i have bought .

This morning , mummy and i went to standard chartered to pay my fees before going to SP for enrollment . Xinying went there with us too (:

Mummy isn't very familiar with the roads at the west , so we took about 50minutes to reach there as we nearly drive to Tuas . LOL .

The funny part was we drove around the perimeter of SP for 2 times before going into the school's carpark because we missed the gate one time xD

We had our lunch at the foodcourt before going to the convention centre . Here comes the complaint part .

We didn't really know where to go to as we only saw the PC roadshow . So Xinying suggested that we go to the service centre to check it out .

She helped me to ask the admin staff about where is the venue for the enrollment . Here's the conversation . [Ours in Pink , staff in Blue]

"When are you supposed to enroll ?"

"Next monday , the 16th of march . "

"You cannot enroll today since today is not your day . "

"But i really cannot make it on the Monday what and you can't possibly ask me to come here . I stay at Tampines lohhs . "

"I am sorry , you cannot enroll as you like . If you are working , you have to reschedule your working days . If you really cannot come down , ask your friend or your parents to help you . "

"Then how am i supposed to take picture sia ?"

"You come down on another day and take lohhs . We can't let everyone enroll on any day as they like . "

Then , i stomped out of the damn office . My mum was nagging , saying that i didn't check properly and stuffs . I was darn piss off lahhs .

We walked further down and finally , we saw the enrollment centre . We hesitated for awhile and then decided to go in .

I didn't walk to the counter . Instead , i went towards the laptop whereby we can use the internet . I checked on the enrollment information at the SP website . Guess what ?

That's why i am damn pissed with the staffs . Apparently , admin staffs in schools are usually unfriendly , rude and irresponsible . Just like my secondary school , they only suck up to the parents .

So disgusting .

After that , we went through the enrollment . Nothing much , except that we have to walk pass the student clubs . Worst part is at student union , who keep on talking non-stop . Only if Joey laopo was there to rescue me . LOL .

I saw Clarissa , Samantha , Shane and i forget who's the other one . Shayne is the most funny person i have met today . Imagine when i called out his name , he ask me who am i with a super blur look .

After everything , mummy drove us to Takashimaya to shop . We went around looking , buying some drinks before mummy went back home to give my sisters their lunch . Thanks mummy for driving me (:

Orchard has become very quiet compared to the past . Apparently , recession has hit it hard on the people .

Xinying and i went to Bugis next .

We went to eat Strawberry strudel . YUM YUM ! It's so nice . I never fail to go there to grab a bite whenever i come to bugis .

After that , we went to Charles and Keith to buy a pair of sandals to replace my painful pointed heels . I wanted to buy my bag at the same time , but i am scared that i have no money to buy other things . Luckily , i got mum's discount card .

Then , we went to bugis street to shop for stockings . Unfortunately , we didn't see any shop with nice ones . We ended up buying slogan tees (:

We went back to BHG to look for my foundation . Damn it , Shiseido Maquilage's base makeup will be out at the end of the month !

But i can't wait any longer as my chanel 2 way cake is running out . In addition , i have to put on makeup for the IT show .

In the end , i settled with Ettusais .

Too bad that the one for the dry skin don't have the limited edition free casing . It's such a waste but it's ok , Xinying said that it's nicer .

After that , we went to have our lunch at food court . Then we went to Watson . Actually , i wanted to buy the Majolica Majorca silver cream eyeshadow .

But the queue was freaking long !!!

I didn't buy anything . We walked around for awhile before going back . It's not a rush to buy things anyway . We can always buy it next week (:

Ok , I am really very tired now . Legs are super sore . LOL .

Foundation (makeup) Dilemma

Hello people ! Now , i really need your guys' help . I can't decide which foundation should i buy . Kind of troublesome of people like me who loves to try new things and is a sucker for packaging . LOL .

Since Shiseido Maquillage is not available in Singapore , I am stucked between Ettusais , Anna Sui , Majolica Majorca and Paul and Joe . These are the few Asian brands which i have chosen .

Just in case some people don't know , Anna Sui products are made in Japan .

All the prices are around the same , so no point asking me to buy the cheapest or anything . xD


Ettusais . Popular for people with oily skin or dry skin (different ingredients for both) . A holy grail product in 2008 . Refer to http://www.cozycot.com


Majolica Majorca . I am not really a fan of the colour gold , but the casing still look nice .


Paul and Joe . I really like the casing with pink colour . Maquillage will be better but too bad , the base makeup it's not available in Singapore ...

Anna Sui . The casing of this brands are very nice and classic .

So girls , which one will you choose if you were me ? and do tell me the reviews if you know or have used any of them . You can also suggest another foundation , but must be ASIAN BRAND .
