Sorry , I am going to make this real short . It's my second time typing this entry . Bloody hell , FUCK off man .

Friday
Mummy came home to bring us out for lunch .

We followed her around when she went to various place for work . Didn't eat dinner as Glutinous Rice ball with bean curd made us feel so full .

I went to see chinese doctor for my injury which I got during IT show . Luckily , it's healing right now . Thank goodness .

Dear came at around 10pm and we bought some cup noodles for dinner . He went home at midnight .

Yesterday
I went out for a fencing meeting with the committee members at town during noon time . We discuss it over lunch time .

Terence and Samuel reached early , so I went around with them before going to fish and co. Rafi and Joey were late . hahaha .

Meeting was boring as usual , but at least it's productive .

After lunch , we went to look for Jojo at the Panasonic roadshow outside Cineleisure . Samuel and Joey got a goodies bag each from the lucky draw .

Both Joey and I got the coupon to redeem yogurt at Frolick . The yogurt ice cream is very nice !

We went home straight after eating our yogurt . I was damn tired so I went home to take a nap while waiting for mummy and dear to come home .

We had our dinner together before going to Tampines mall to catch a movie . Dear was complaining to me that GV took away the NETS machine and he ended up had to pay using credit card .

Seriously , what are those companies thinking about ? They think everyone is capable of owning a credit card ? So inconvenient for people like us .

Anyway , we watched When in Rome . The cinema was filled with people , especially at snacks counter . The queues were long that we were 10 minutes late for the movie .

Luckily the commercial were quite long xD


Overall , I will give a rating of 9 out of 10 . The show is really nice , it filled the place with laughter !

The scene I love the most is when Beth (Kristen Bell) tried to break the vase during her sister's wedding as a traditional custom .

The number of pieces that the vase breaks into = the number of years with happiness the couple will have .

Funny part was regardless how she threw the vase , even hit the pillar, it didn't break . It was until Nick (Josh Duhamel) came to her rescue and broke it .

The other funny part was the translation of Beth's speech by Nick . His poor Italian language really makes it hilarious .

This show is worth the money to watch . It's interesting !

After the movie , we went back home .

My back was aching like hell . It's at the spinal cord there . I wonder what is happening to my back right now...

Today
Mummy bought lunch back home . I ate it and went straight to my ballet class .

The class was interesting . Still , I couldn't do a good Battement Tendu as I tend to move my hips unintentionally !

I learnt quite a number of things , let me share it with my readers (:

Firstly , Feet positions in Ballet .


First position - The dancer stands with feet well rotated in "turn-out" and touching heel to heel, making as nearly a straight alignment as possible.

The knees are also touching with legs straightened. Proper turn-out requires flexibility at the hips and correct posture, and is a fundamental characteristic of classical ballet.

In beginners' classes, most exercises at the barre start from first position.


2nd position - The dancer stands with feet turned out along a straight line as in first position, but with the heels about one foot apart.


3rd position - The dancer's feet are aligned to the turn-out of first position, but with one foot to the front and the heel of the front foot close to the arch of the back foot.

There are two third positions, depending on which foot is in front.

In beginners' classes it is a transition position in the progress to fifth position, or when a dancer is physically incapable of a perfect fifth position (especially in adult beginners' classes).


4th position - Fifth position, but with feet about a foot apart to the front. There are two main fourth positions, depending on which foot is in front.


5th position - The dancer stands with feet turned out as in first position, but the heel of one foot is placed close to the toe of the other foot, so that the legs are crossed more than in third position.

There are two fifth positions, depending on which foot is in front.

Now we go on to arm positions in Ballet.


Bras Bas - both arms are rounded with the fingers almost touching, both hands just in front of the hips.


1st position - maintaining this curved shape, arms are brought up so that the tips of the fingers are in line with the navel.


2nd position - arms are out to the sides, angled down and forward, with palms facing forward. Elbows are slightly lower than the shoulders, and wrists are slightly lower than the elbow.

Demi seconde - This is a position as the title says, demi or half way between first and second position arms. The arms are lifted to about 45 degrees and held away from the body.

3rd position - one arm is in second position, the other is in first position.


4th position - one arm is in first position, the other is rounded and raised above the head. (French method; left picture). one arm is in fifth position and the other in second. (English method; right picture)

*With regards to this , I am not too sure if I am right . I did some research and watched some videos , but they didn't state very clearly .

I learn both of them though (:


5th position - both arms are rounded and held above and slightly forward of the head.

Port de bras - Carriage of the arms. Set movements of the arms from one position to the other.

Reverence - A movement, generally made by the sweep of an arm to acknowledgethe rest of the ensemble cast (corps), the instructor, the choreographer, and/or the orchestra.

After class , I went straight to dear's house . My back still ache like hell . I only felt better after sticking the salonpas on my affect area .

Thank goodness that it works...

I think I must have strained the muscles at the back when I was sleeping , exercising or carrying heavy stuffs . I have never got such thing before .

We went down to Khatib central to buy some food to eat . We saw Yifang and her boyfriend .

It's a good thing that both our boyfriends stay so close to each other . We can meet any time we want as long we visit our boyfriends (:

At night , we rushed to White sands for dinner as dear will be late for booking in if we went to Bedok 85 for dinner .

Tuesday
I woke up rather late and rushed to Great World City for casting .

Initially , I thought it's cancelled as what the person told me . However , it's not and they just changed the venue . Quite furious about it .

Luckily I saw Mayne , if not I would have went home without going for the casting .

The casting didn't go well because I couldn't answer anything got to do with alcohol . I wasn't good with it as I seldom drink .

After that , I went home for dinner . It has been quite some time since mummy cooked for us as she was busy .

Yesterday
I didn't have enough sleep because I was waiting for the results till 4am .

That morning , I saw it and it wasn't good .

D+ for my CPPB is bad enough and I scored much better for Engineering maths though I really thought that I will forward that module .

But come to think of it , I think I am really bad with those Chemical Process Principal modules . C for CPPA and D+ for CPPB . LOL .

GPA down , bad mood . But I should be glad that I don't have to forward any modules (I know that I am just trying to make myself feel better.)

No more playing and slacking for next term . Time to buck up just like what I used to do back in Secondary 4 and JC (:

I went out early with mummy and my sisters because we were going for massage at Takashimaya's True SPA .

We let my 2 sisters to go to McDonald's before going up . The place is very nice , a good place to relax ourselves during the massage etc .

However , they don't have a good service . Why do I say so ?

When someone signed up for those package , especially those that cost more than 1k , the people should do some service by calling to see if the customers have been using it.

If someone finishes their package , then they can ask someone to sign up again isn't it ? This is the basic service you can give .

Mummy has signed up the package since 2007 . She hasn't use it till we went for massage on that day .

The point is that no one ever call her to see if she is coming down to use the packages . They even said that they don't provide such services .

It's not whether they provide or not , it's their additional service and technique to attract customers .

But it seems like they lack of such knowledge and being ignorant about it .

Worse , mummy called the day before to make an appointment . They replied that they will call in 2 minutes to confirm it . Guess what ?

No call received from them .

And so , we assumed that the appointment was made and we went down on the day itself for the massage .

Here come's the problem: They said we didn't make any appointment . What a joke .

They checked using her name , old phone number and blablabla yet nothing was found in the stupid system .

Mummy was furious and she almost screamed at the receptionists .

After seeing mummy so furious , they decided to push us to do massage though our intention was to do massage and Spa .

If they provide good services , mummy may consider going back there for Spa . But now with all this shit happened , fat hope .

If such things happened to you , will you visit the place again ? I doubt so .

Ok , enough of the spa thingy .

After the massage , we went for lunch at Takashimaya's foodcourt . It seems like they are having some renovations .

Disappointment: No more Chinese and Malay mixed rice that were located in the middle of the food court . The food were one of the best in the food court .

The mixed rice there is bad . Small amount of side dishes and expensive . I rather go to ION orchard's food court and eat .

After lunch , we went to kinokuniya to buy some books before going to grandma's house . We stayed there till quite late to wait for daddy to come back home .

Today
I met Yifang at Raffles place for facial !

Really like tai-tai right ? Massage for yesterday and Facial for today . Only lack of manicure , pedicure and hairdo . LOL .

We went to this place called Fil . The service is really good ! I really love the treatment !

I did the one that 'pump' in oxygen into the skin , more for hydration . Yifang did the one to improve radiant .

They even helped us to shape our eyebrows !

It's sooooo comfortable that I nearly fell asleep . hahas .

If I got enough money , I am sure that I will be back for another round of facial with Yifang . It's good to have a friend to go for facial together ((:

It rained heavily in the afternoon . We went to Bugis for lunch before going to shop for our things . I went to buy my leotard and ballet tights .

Seriously , I got a hard time choosing because I wasn't sure what colour and what design for the back should I get .

But at the end , there is only 1 design for the L size black colour leotard due to ballet examinations , which is around the corner .

I am sure that I will be back for another leotard if I finished my beginner 1 course (:

After buying my things , we went to Bras Basah to buy assessments for the student . We got a hard time finding the Popular because the signboard isn't very obvious .

When we were looking for the assessments , we were also looking at the textbooks to check the syllabus .

Nowadays kids are studying harder things than what we studied back then . The next generation will suffer even more . Poor kids .

We went to the McDonald's to have a drink while waiting to go off to Redhil for my photoshoot . We had a drink while chatting throughout .

The place is really nice , condusive place for studying . I have never seen nice chairs in McDonald's and that was the first time (:

After that , we went to Mount Faber Safra for the photoshoot . The safra is the nicest one that I ever seen . Very big and nice ! LOL .

The shoot , I shall not talk much about it . Just that I wasn't very happy throughout the shoot . But thanks to the people who gave me support .

A bigger thanks to Yifang who was there for me during the shoot . She really helped me alot . Love you babe ((:

We went home quite late . Worse , Yifang and I took a train towards Joo Koon instead of towards Pasir Ris . Luckily , we realised it at the next stop . LOL .

Friday
I was spending my afternoon doing nothing . Sooooo bored .

That morning , I was told that I was selected for Food Hotel Asia 2010 which falls on 20th April till 23rd April .

This event seems like a 'professional' event whereby people cannot dress too casually to enter .

However , I can't work because it's a full day event and school starts at 19th April . What a pity . Every time when I got a job , it just happen that I cannot work for it :(

I wanted to buy things ; go out to shop for the whole day . But without work , there is no income and which means no money to shop .

Here are some of the things that I want to buy:

They aren't very cheap too , so I need to work . I can't find those part time jobs 'cos they usually need commitment , which I can't .

Events ; They are not easy to get as there are soooo many pretty and tall girls out there . Chances to get the job are slim .

What to do... I only can be as thrifty as I can .

At night , I went for a shoot at park mall . Thanks mummy for sending me there (:

It has been a long time since I went for a photoshoot , so I am kind of 'rusty' . Thankfully , Datson is very patient and he is a very nice person .

The shoot was rather short because I got to rush off to meet mummy and uncle for dinner . I was even late to meet mummy at Orchard Plaza .

I ended up buying the food back home .

Saturday
I spent my afternoon watching cardcaptor sakura again . It's my 4th time watching the WHOLE SERIES .

I watched till evening before going off to Pasir Ris East CC to sign up for my adult ballet . Yes , I finally can learn what I want .

At first I asked mummy for her opinion. She said I am crazy to learn at such an old age . But she doesn't know I am still quite flexible .

Then I asked Daddy about it . He doesn't think that I am crazy but he thinks that I should learn something useful ; something which I can end up teaching people as a backup .

Both of them said something in common ; They want me to go back for piano lessons .

It's such a waste that I stopped at Grade 5 and didn't continue . I could be a piano teacher if I completed grade 8 .


But I told them that piano lessons for my grade isn't cheap . It costs about $400 for a term for my current practical and theory grade ; Grade 5 and Grade 6 respectively .

If it's like paying once a month , I guess I am fine with it . But this is a term for goodness sake . The money can be 'seen' .

In addition , without a piano at home , I cannot practice for my exams too . It's quite pointless . Last time , I still have pianos at my secondary school .

But right now , I don't have any piano to practice except for Thursday during training .

However, if I can find those paying for per month , I will definitely continue . Any recommendations for classes and piano studio for rental ?

I love music and dance alot , probably more than my love for sports . There are many things that I always wanted to learn but couldn't do so .

Let me share with you what I am interested in:

There are many more , but I shall not be greedy about it .

Anyway , I am quite happy that I registered for my adult ballet classes . I am looking forward for all the classes !

After registering , I walked from the CC to white sands to fetch dear . Luckily , I managed to reach there on time .

We went home to put down the things and wash some of his things before going to Joey's chalet , which was located at Changi area .

The chalet/resort is really big and nice ! I really love the sea breeze . It's really cooling to eat your BBQ food there . Fiona was there too .

It has been a long time since I saw Joey's youngest sister . I was like 'WOW' when I saw her . hahahas , I am 'old' already .

Anyway , Thanks Joey laopo for inviting me . Love you ! hahas .

Yesterday
Dear and I went to McDonald's to have our breakfast . It has been a long time since we went to eat breakfast together (:

After that , we went to Tampines one to buy some magazines and novel . I wanted to buy but I still got 2 more books to read xD

We went to Pasir Ris East CC straight away after buying things . I nearly late for my ballet class . Luckily everyone has to try the ballet shoes to get the size .

The class is filled with people from age 15 to about 50 . It's cool to see many people signed up for the class . The teacher , Joni , is very nice to us .

We started off with those strengthening exercise , which allows us to strengthen our muscles and ligaments at our ankles so that we won't get hurt when we do pointe work in the future .

Certain moves were a little tough for me because my knees tend to move whenever I moved from one position to another .

It's abit tedious for me to remember those French Terms. Because even for music , I suck at remembering those Itallian, French and Germen Terms . LOL .

Things which I have learnt for the first lesson:

Battment Tendu (in the picture) - a battement where the extended foot never leaves the floor.

The working foot slides forward or sideways from the fifth or first position to reach the forth or second position, lifting the heel off the floor and stretching the instep. It forms the preparation for many other positions, such as the ronds de jambe and pirouette positions.

** I only learn the one moving to the side.

Demi-Plié - the dancer bends knees until just below the classical hips while maintaining turn-out at the joints, allowing the thighs and knees to be directly above the line of the toes .

** at 1st and 2nd position .

Demi pointe - Half pointe; standing on the balls of the feet with the ankles fully stretched.

That's all for my first ballet class .

After class , we went back home to rest before buying dinner from downstairs . At night , I sent dear to Pasir Ris for booking in . I saw Clarence at White sands ! hahas .

Today
This afternoon , I was doing nothing except for watching Cardcaptor Sakura . I am just way too bored till I 'rot' at home .

I was alone at home . My sisters went out and leave me alone . *sobsob* .

At night , we went out for dinner with mummy .

Tuesday
I was damn bored that day , literally rotting at home .

My book was my companion of the day . But I cannot read too fast as it's still long from Saturday evening .

Luckily , Yifang asked me to go out that evening . It really kills my boredom ! hahas . It's my virgin outing with Gillian babe too (:

There wasn't many people at Bugis that evening . But I saw Valerie babe xD

We went to shop around bugis street , chitchat etc . It's a fun day with the 2 babes (:

Yesterday
Xinying and I went out together !

and the stupid bus 21 made me waited for half an hour . Cursed it man .

As per usual , Bugis was our first stop . I went to have my lunch at McDonald's , then we went to buy something at Sasa . Followed by going to Bugis street , kinokuniya and have our strudels for tea time (:

We did something 'scary' that day...

Walked from Bugis to Orchard . Pro right ? LOL .

It's something interesting I guess . Anyway , we went to Plaza Singapura , 313 Somerset , Hereen, Takashimaya, Paragon, Tangs then Far east . Many places right ?

Our aim was to find nice hair accessories xD

We went to Tangs closed door sales . We managed to get in as I have the Tangs card . Too bad that I didn't see any familiar babes .

Actually, both of us wanted to buy lipsticks from MAC . But we couldn't find the colours we wanted , so we just left the place for Far East .

We shopped around for belts but I didn't manage to find the one I like . We went home at around 9pm . Our back hurt like mad ! LOL .

I would say this shopping is abit of failure because we didn't find the thing we wanted , except for buying from essential things...

Today
I am rotting at home . Just kind of tired , which I don't know why too...

I have been thinking of which colour should I dye for my hair .

Previously , I had tried Liese Bubble hair dye in Marshmallow brown , but it didn't turn out to the colour that I wanted .

Probably because of the previous time whereby I dyed my blonde part black .

All this time , I wanted to try milk tea brown . Since it's lighter , I will probably get something which I wanted .

As I was searching about other hair dye , I saw this Japanese brand hair dye, Palty with Yui and Tsubasa as their models .

I must say that their hair are really nice .


Personally , I like Caramel Brown (No.2) and Milk tea brown (2nd row , no.2) . I think Milk tea latte (3rd row, last one) is cool too .

But Xinying said that I got to bleach my hair to achieve those colours!

Sigh ~ I don't want to bleach my hair unnecessarily . It will cause my hair to be very 'cui' .

What's more is that I don't know how to use such dye . These types definitely need someone to help you . And I have been wondering if those can touch the scalpe .

Well , I still got quite sometime to consider since I only want to dye it a week before school reopen . Maybe I will dye it twice...


Another thing , I just saw a class Adult ballet for beginners is going to start soon . Since then , I have been considering if I should join or not .

Cost of the classes has always been the issue . I stopped my piano class at Grade 5 is partially because of this reason .

All these while , I have always been envious of kids/teenages wearing leotards with the ballet tights . I always wanted to do things like pointe ...

After some consideration , I think I will go for it .

If I never try , I think I will have some regrets in the future . The cost is affordable too !

Of course , I can't be a professional dancer since I start at age near 20 . But if I can , I would like to take RAD too !
